Yogi signed his King's deal (3m guaranteed this year vs 2.9m he woulda got with the Mavs)...so that's already weird AF....but the Kings have 11m in cap space, but now are sitting on 16 on the roster and still haven't met the cap floor (91m)...seriously weird AF.

So that implies they either gotta waive someone to get their roster down to 15, but will just go further away from the cap floor in the process...or they're going to have to trade where they send more guys heading out all while bringing in more salary to meet the cap floor.

Sac has 2 (possibly 3) 2nd round picks in 2019, but traded away both their 2nd rounder and 1st rounder in 2019. Meanwhile Toronto is at 13 on the roster and are 15m over the luxury tax threshold and traded away their 2019 1st rounder so only have their 2nd rounder for next summer....so yall must've figured out by now where I'm going with this.

Sac out: ZBo, Shump, Koufos, 2nd round pick(s), cash for buyout
Sac in: Lowry, Deng, LA 2019 1st and a future 1st rounder
= 15 on the roster and get past the floor, capping themselves out and then some, but avoid luxury taxes. Add a PG allstar mentor for Fox that they wanted GHill to be and pick up draft compensation for all their expiring contracts

Toronto out: Kawbye, Lowry (salary dumped)
Toronto in: Moe, Sv33, Shump, Koufos, Sac 2nd round pick(s), cash for Zbo or Koufos buyout
= 15 on the roster after the buyout and they shed almost 25m in team salary (36m if you incorporate the buyout) avoiding the luxury tax (and nearly 65m in savings if you consider taxes). They use Kawhi to dump Lowry and knowing he's a rental, also gain some young assets to start their rebuild.

    LA out: Dengdump'd, Moe, Sv33, 2019 1st, future 1st, cash for buyout
    LA in: KawHi
= 12 on the roster and now we can go hunt down some more vet free agents in the loony bin...also there is the possibility of going after whoever the Raps decide to buyout. We dump Deng, hold onto our kiddie stable and oh yeah....Kawhi f***ing LAonard.

If push comes to shove, I make Hart or Kuz available...but retaining BI and Zo, while avoid wasting a full year of Bron's limited prime, all while adding Kawhi f***ing LAonard...yeah, lets go do that please!

I think he craves a bigger market than Minny

No way you give up Towns if he’s not staying

He does want to team up with Jimmy though (but probably in a big market). Jimmy and Thibs annoyed with Towns' effort, as with Wiggins too but Boston already has a lot of wings.

The cbags are 4m over the luxury tax theshold (have a projected 6m tax bill) and with Ky and Horford coming up as free agents next year, they still either have to go into the tax to keep them or go find someone else to replace them.

You have to be a tax paying team in at least 3 of the last 4 years to have the more punitive repeater rates apply. If they pay this year, they're more than likely to be a payer next year as well as and into the forseeable future..so it's would be Smart (pun intended) to get off 4m in salary this year to avoid taxes.

Imho, Marcus Morris (5.4m expiring deal) at a minimum will be dealt sometime this year.

Btw, interpret these vids however you want. But I'm already on the AD #FutureLaker juice and if that other guy comes along, that's fine by me too...we can have our cupcake and eat it too.

One would think he'd be ring chasing.

Vc ain't a chaser; I like that about him. Really glad he's not in Houston.

Boston has made no secret of their AD pursuit--think we'd get outbid there.

When he joined the Kings last year I knew he's not concerned about ring chasing and good for Vince. He's just playing because he still genuinely loves the game.

I think he’s money chasing. He had a divorce some years back and probably got hosed.

And this is why I can't stand Durantulame...

Also Lowry and DeMar linked up in Vegas.. Lowry's contract is trash anyways, but I really hope dude demands out of Toronto....kill your value and force Kawhi to want out of Toronto asap...
