They just signed this dude to a 3 year deal and his 2018/19 contract doesn't become fully guaranteed till 1/10/19, so a bit premature if you ask me.

Bulls, with Nwaba's cap hold of 1.7m, project to have just south of 16m in cap space (if the renounce all their trade exceptions, highlighted by the 9m Niko TPE). They have 2 nonguaranteed contracts that open up that cap to 19m if they waive them. They also have 2 expiring centers in RoLo and Asik.

Skip and Colin are completely different. Skip is an anus pimple. Colin is a broadcaster who is likely the type of guy who yells out his own name when he is making love. Colin does his job the way he is suppose to, even if his commentary is dumb sometimes. Skip Bayless is useless and I still can't figure out how that dip**** is still on TV.

 

I enjoy watching Colin Cowherd, Skip Bayless, Stephen A Smith, and Chris Broussard.

They are entertaining and even their most outlandish statements usually have a kernel of logic behind them. Makes for some fun speculation.

Like I said, all these teams have been together for the most part. Donovan Mitchell will be out for blood next year. OKC wasn't too bad with Roberson and George healthy and Carmelo out. Denver and Minnesota will be annoying. And GSW and Houston are not going anywhere.

The West will be a bloodbath. Nothing is guaranteed. But we are the new ones. It will take a while to fine tune our offense and defense with LeBron and so many new players. There will be an adjustment period of a few months. That's okay, but I factor all this in when I say we won't be a top 2 seed.

They now sit on a roster of 14. They opened up roughly 4m in cap today by waiving/renouncing players. They also have another 2 non-guaranteed contracts that can open up another 3m.

If they renounce all their exceptions, they can open up 20m+ in cap space.

Bulls are up to something...Portis extension? Capela offer? Deng dump? Kawhi deal? Melo deal?

i'm not bullish on denver. they've got continuity, which is worth a few wins, but they also have complacency, which is worth a few losses. who's poised to make a leap there? i think they're fighting for a playoff spot again.

i think minny is ripe for implosion. i've sworn portland was going to dip for three years, but i keep looking stupid. in any case, i think both take a step back this year. lakers have a chance to sneak into that void. will they? don't know. i just don't bet against lebron.

but okc, hou, utah, and gsw return the bulk of their important pieces, so they have to be the favorites for HCA. after that, i think everyone but phx, sac, and lac have legit playoff aspirations. dal and mem need some stuff to break right, but i wouldn't be shocked if either won 50 games.

edit: lol-i always forget NO exists, despite sporting a generational talent. they'll be fighting for playoff spot again.

 

Maybe this rules out a Melo deal?
