feel like the FO needs to make a statement to the fans about the situation. is it really that they're embracing the center-less philosophy? even GS carried four of them and employed at least 1-2 goon types at all times.

i thought we weren't going to try to beat GS and houston at their own games.

I don't what the plan is there at the 5 right now. I'm just going by what we have on the roster...

There isn't much out there; unless their eyeing somebody via trade...

They don't have to explain crap to us right now. They're winning the summer by a large, large margin. No one is really even close.

There's a lot of time left to see where this goes.

perhaps. offseason isn't over yet. i just think lopez was a no-brainer at that price. solid 20-25mpg player, familiar with the system/organization, good locker room guy.

i just hope it's not about waiting for melo.

Neither did I. I really thought if they were going to add him, they would have done it at the same time they landed the other guys.

Seems like we're waiting for the RFA dominoes to fall.

Yep. What is going on with Houston and Capela? That seems strange. Thought they were going to MAX him? Second thoughts?

I am going to miss taking cheap shots at Slopez. He was pretty good though and I’m sure he would be better with a more organized team, which is what we will have under Rondo and The King’s leadership. They could have made his life much easier. But he should be a good fit for the Bucks with all that length. Good signing by them.

Maybe the Lakers can work out a sign and trade for Deng. :D

Hell, Lopez now can dream playoffs or more... He'll help them immensely maybe as far as the Eastern Conference Finals.

We're going to re-sign Channing Frye. IMO

Forgot about that guy, but that would make sense. Experience, 3pt shooting, and familiarity. I still wish IT could have worked out coming off the bench for the same reason. We would have plenty of offense.

Yeah. This is probably the most likely scenario. Frye has become less and less effective as each season comes and goes. At 35, how much can we really expect out of him? Wagner is probably perfectly capable of supplying Frye's contributions.

I really hope the front office decides to take a flyer on Okafor instead. Maybe being in a winning situation with veteran champions (Lebron, Rondo) will have a positive effect on him.

Another thing to keep in mind, now that we're a "contender" again, we may be waiting until the mid-season to add a center for the home stretch. We hope someone decent gets waived. Over the last few years, we'd get the crap players that were waived. Now that we're in position to make the playoffs and probably get to the second round (maybe even WCF), we'll get first pick when it comes to those mid-season releases.

Doesn't Deng dump to OKC to bring back Melo work where OKC saves a s***load of penalty tax? 75 or more million this year?

Maybe the Spurs will take on Deng if we take back Pau.
