I can see him in Houston. I don’t mind him as long as he’s willing to accept a lesser role.

And he has the size to hold his ground and battle with other skilled Big centers that the centers with small balls cannot. Uhhh .... that "small ball" centers cannot.

Sign Svi to a deal similar to Bonga. Sign BroLo to the rest of the cap. Make Lance and McGee official. AND LET'S GO!!!!

I would feel great about this team if we sign Lopez. It really makes so much sense. He can play D, stretch the floor, has polished post moves and is a great teammate. A true professional. Not sure what we are waiting for, but I'm sure our FO guys talked to him already. Right?

Lakers are at 13 with the Bonga signing. 14 if we sign Svi. 15 if we sign BLo to our remaining cap. We've exhausted our roster spots at that point.

So why is our name linked with Melo again?

    Kawhi/Dump Deng related?

    Headlines probably. Clicks.

I find their interest in Bonga just fascinating. He must have blown them away in the workout. They traded up to get him AND signed him before Svi AND gave him two guaranteed years when we're hoarding cap space? Crazy.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that Magic sees a bit of himself in Bonga as a 6'9" PG.

i think a good trade target is Ariza by deadline...if pho is bottoming out and tanking, they might consider salary dumps for picks

Not a bad idea. I could see it happening, especially if we're willing to part with more than one pick. The only issue though is with Booker and Ayton, they are probably thinking they can use their cap space to entice some solid players. Randle's second year is a player option, Phoenix isn't that far from San Diego for Kawhi...They're at 61 million if they don't take back Deng for Ariza. Figure that number is actually about 69 since they will be extending Booker. Ayton and Booker could be very appealing to a Jimmy Butler or Kawhi Leonard. Maybe Kemba Walker? As much as we like to rag on the Suns, they actually have a pretty promising future right now. Josh Jackson was surging a bit late last season. In 2019, they could conceivably start the season with a starting lineup of

    Kemba
    Booker
    Jackson
    ?
    Ayton

    That's pretty intriguing.

Fans of those teams could not be happy, or interested, with those trades. All 3 players could exit the league and I don’t think anyone would notice or care.

I'm just trying to figure out Charlotte's motivation here. Mozgov makes less than Biyombo and while Biyombo has an option for next season, it's a Player Option so he's likely to keep it. Do they like Biyombo more than Mozgov so they're willing to pay more? I don't get it.

Rockets should take him but I'm pretty sure they are busy trying to figure out this Capela situation.
