I like Bosh, but no man. I'm sorry but no.

Lillard would be a gift from God. Ball, Kuzma, Deng, pick. I'd do that for sure. Keeping Ingram is a priority for me. We underestimate how good he was as a 20yr old.

Lillard, KCP, Ingram, LeBron is so money as a starting 4. Shooting, long, athletic... They'd be a problem.

Yeah for sure...I just don't understand why we would care. If we couldn't agree on a 1 year jumbo deal, then tough. You either sign the QO (we're looking at 1year expiring deals anyway), refuse to sign it and remain a RFA into next summer or accept a S&t to get a multi-year deal.

It's like we did Mintz a favor by renouncing Jules and just letting him walk. I understand that other agents talk and maybe Rob is looking out for some fellow agent unwritten rule...but Mintz was at our mercy and we let that dude off the hook.

I love the Rondo acquisition (although we did overpay), but I just don't understand why a S&t couldn't get established when all parties would've benefitted from it: Nop retains their Mle, LA can aggregate more incoming salary to better position us for a follow-up Kawhi deal, Rondo gets paid still and Jules retains his bird rights to really get paid next summer if he sticks in NOP.

This was such a bizarre move all around, especially when you look at it collectively as a Jules-McGee-Boogie 3way deal.

Might have done a favor for Julius, not Mintz.

If we bring in Dame, does he get to assist Cook with "The Dame's Doomday" thread?

Bosh, no way. Wade is as close to done as a former star can be and couldn’t even help LeBron in CLEVELAND. He’s good for like 1 good game a week maybe. Melo is an inefficient chucker who can’t play defense and refuses to come off the bench, so he’d be backing up like Kuz, Ingram or LeBron and I just don’t see it.

Wall, no thanks, gets hurt a lot, isn’t exactly loved by his teammates, has really hot and cold stretches. Lillard, of course, depending on what you’d have to send out, we couldn’t gut our team of Ingram and Kuz, it would have to be centered around Lonzo.

The other name mentioned in that rumor was Beal. Would love to have his shooting on this team.

His injury history is too much for me.

Again, would depend on what we’re giving up. Is Beal taking us over the top (he’s also had an injury history), or do we think Ingram can be better than him eventually? We have a bunch of SG’s/SF’s already, so that’s not a huge need, would Lonzo and like Hart be worth Beal? I don’t know, could be if we’re trying to win now. What we really need is a true starting C and probably a Randle replacement. But yes, shooters as well, although our PG and SG positions seem very solid with Zo/Rondo, and KCP/Hart/Stephenson.

Ingram last year shot better from 3 than Beal did.

True. But Ingram definitely has the potential to be every bit the shooter as Beal. His potential is sky high.

that and people dared ingram to shoot it while they tried like hell to keep beal from shooting it.

oh, and i've been on wall as a trade target for a long time. ball/deng for wall. washington needs to save some cash and needs a younger star. they can get out from under wall before he starts to get really expensive. lakers get a ready-made running mate for lebron without selling off multiple young pieces.

Trading for those players is nearly impossible now unless we include Deng.

could be just laying groundwork for january. we'll have tons of expirings and deng as salary ballast to add to a young player.

i expect us to sign a center for 5 mil and go to camp.

True. If the trade deadline comes and we can ship out Ball, Deng and Lance with a couple picks for Lillard, I'd be the happiest person in all Lakerland
