Aaron Mintz's the real snake!! He might also be the snitch that led to the tampering fine.

And doesn’t it feel like a little bit out of spite? Does to me. I’d think he could have gotten almost that for ONE year with us.

I don't understand why we couldn't guarantee Randle starting alongside LeBron in the front court. This all sounds like we're either getting boogie or Brook

Honestly it’s not hard to see that that relationship with Mintz wasn’t going anywhere.

Mintz is a piece of trash. He's on David Stern levels of trash.

    lebron
    stephenson
    mcgee
    cousins

This is all so crazy I can barely keep up!! But in general I'm happy with everything that's going down. Sure, I'm sad to see Randle go, I was one of his biggest supporters and I would have loved to have him here alongside Lebron. But biz is biz and either he didn't want to be here as reported, or his agent didn't or whatever . . . We've got to do the best we can now and put together a contender.

seems like the FO is actively trying to undo the goodwill that the lebron signing brought. i'm befuddled by basically all moves since that moment.

yeah, feels like we're flushing what might be one of the last prime lebron years, though. i mean, rondo is a terrible fit in this system, as are stephenson and mcgee, imo. just weird. are they going to fire walton?

Dude...what in the blue f***ing hell are we doing?

All my excitement from the LeBron signing is almost gone overnight with a SERIES of terrible moves and of course, renouncing Jules and him immediately signing with the Pelicans as a result.

I am beyond pissed that we let this dude walk to another team and we got nothing in return for him.

This means that Portland is now hard capped at 131M since they most likely used the BAE to sign Seth.

They're sitting at 118M in team salary and still have to sign Nurkic and Anfernee Simmons...their cap holds put the Blazers at 128M in total salary.

So Shabazz ain't coming back and Portland is super limited now to how they move from here on out.

Very interesting group we've put together and I kind of love it.

    Lonzo/Rondo/Caruso
    Pope/Hart/Newman
    Ingram/Stephenson/Mykhailiuk
    LeBron/Kuzma
    McGee/Wagner/Zubac

It feels like we could probably move Wagner to PF and slide Boogie in there if we wanted to at starting Center if/when he gets healthy. It's not going to be your mama's favorite team, but it's fascinating to see on paper. Should be a lot of defense, a lot of chippiness, a lot of passing. I know everyone is saying we need shooters, but Pope, Ingram, Hart, and Kuzma are all shooters. Presumably Wagner and Mykhailiuk are shooters.

The bench unit is intriguing as hell, but I'm really looking forward to seeing lineups of Lonzo/Hart or Pope or Stephenson/Ingram/Kuzma/LeBron. Small, but aggressive and all capable of getting out and passing and moving the ball. Very interesting team we're going to have.

alright, I've given you guys enough time to dwell on Randle. I dont know why you guys are acting like we just let go of Eddie Jones.

I told you guys Randle is a role player. He can't shoot, needs the ball in his hands to actually be effective. He would destroy spacing with Lebron on the team. He is a offensive foul machine and he has always been known to lose focus during games.

He is not that good. He will never be more then what he is. My hope was he would be a rebounding machine but he isn't gonna be that guy either. He can't protect the rim and can't guard the Rudy Goberts or any taller centers who can play.

A lot of the free agents we signed are gonna improve our defense but they aren't the best perimeter shooters. At some point I hope we get players with better outside shooting.
