I'm no advanced stats guy. Maybe someone can pull them up. But, there is no doubt that Lance left enough of an impression on LeBron that he was recommended for this move.

Problem may be Tyreke will want a 4 year deal. Lance agreeing to a one year might be why that became a priority.

That's a good point. Tyreke had his best season in years. Maybe ever. This would be the perfect moment to seek a last long contract. But, if he is willing to jump on board the LeBron train for a one year deal, that would be awesome.

The reason some of these guys are cool with one year deals, particularly this summer, is cause the market is dry AF.

The only teams that have cap are basement dwellers with no media attention/coverage whatsoever. Memphis vs LA...really?

Imagine a one year deal where you're in LA playing with Bron on national TV for the maximum amount of games allowed to be broadcasted. Then you go into the playoffs and get even more shine.

That type of exposure is invaluable...then you become a free agent next summer, when a whole lot more money becomes available.

OKC had the tax payers Mle (5.5m)....seeing how its a 2 year deal (player option), it seems he chose the money, cause we would have had to do something radical to clear enough cap to get him...so our offer was probably just the vet min.

First of all..if you wanted a 2 year 36m player, Utah...we had one we coulda traded to you.

Seriously tho, this deal kinda set the market for Jules. Two year deal, with the second being non-guaranteed...take it or leave it.

And btw, sign an offer sheet and we'll match it and trade you later in the season. We hold all the cards here.

Didn't a cLipper contingent fly to recruit this guy... Feel bad for the Logo...I really do.

Ah well, get that ballmer bag, Mr. West!

Also vet min for Noel...surprising that he didn't choose us....maybe Boogie is part of the plans after all or Jules/McGee will take the bulk of the minutes.
