    I'd rather have Pope honestly. Redick is a better shooter, but Pope plays both sides of the ball. And Pope still ended up shooting 38% last year which isn't bad at all.

    Yes. The buyout means he'd take a little less money, but it'd still be treated like a waived contract.

    That means we'd still be on the hook for probably round 6-7 million per year for the next five years.

    We desperately need a backup PG.

    Caruso isn't an nba caliber backup. And Lonzo is made of glass and relatively soft. He needs about 3 times as much time to return compared to other players.
