    yeah, for...?

that's a depressing list and why i hate cap space plans. if lebron's out, i'd make big RFA offers to capela and gordon, maybe simultaneously. if lebron's in, i basically just tell him he's the gm. it's not like we're kicking a**.

ATL is sitting on 22m in cap space now.

Chicago is sitting on 40m in cap space but have 25m in cap holds to their rfas and rookies (they haven't signed them yet which is suspicious)...so that owners then with 15m in cap space.

Sac is sitting in 25m in cap and have suspiciously not signed Bagley, which will then put then at 18m in cap space.

Jules has no market and we should hold Mintz accountable.

Also possible Deng dump sites still open (although Chicago could dry up fairly soon).

@abeer3 take on expiring deals (see Nugs) get a pick out of it; trade for a disgruntled star into our space (see Kawhi), give it to Boogie and Bron which is still a huge success considering we dodged one in Pauline (altho I concede that she and her heels would have been an asset we could move off later).

I can’t tell if this is the free agency thread or the WMC thread. Please, stay away from bridges, tall buildings, and cliffs, guys.

I've always liked Lance, he's one of those guys you hate to play against but love him when he's on your team. As long as he isn't a cancer in the locker room and doesn't affect our young guys negatively I'd have no problem bringing him on.

Why is no one talking about Kemba Walker? He's obviously available, and I think he could be a great hold over piece. I like Lonzo, but I'm sort of over everything that comes with him. Trade Lonzo, Zu and maybe a pick for Kemba. His $12 million salary allows us to resign Randle and NOT stretch Deng. Then we go into next offseason with an easy to move contract in Deng (it's expiring), most of our youth and potentially a ton of cap space for Kawhi.

    Projected salaries for next season:

    Lebron - 36
    Kemba - 12
    Deng - 18
    Randle - 13
    Ingram - 5.8
    Hart - 1.7
    Kuzma - 1.7
    Wagner - 1.5

    That's 89.7 million...let's call it 90. 4 cap holds at 4 million brings us to 94 million.

Sign Shabbaz Napier to the Room Exception
Sign Lopez to our left over cap space
A couple ring chasing shooters to finish out the roster.

    Kemba
    Ingram
    Lebron
    Randle
    Lopez

with Kuzma, Hart, Napier, Wagner, and (gulp) Deng off the bench.

    Our end-game lineup can be

    Kemba
    Ingram
    Kuzma
    Lebron
    Randle

Is that team going to beat Golden State? No. Not without an injury to Durant or Steph. But I think having Lebron and Kemba along with another year of experience from our youth is enough to challenge the Rockets, especially since they just lost Ariza.

Don't wanna get banned for saying too much (although, that might be a well needed break from the board).

    Such instigators lol

I think in one week you’ll feel completely different. At the end of the day, basketball is a sport, a hobby, and entertainment. It’s easy for us to get caught up in the details hour by hour, but we’d all be happier people if we could skip the next week and fast forward to the results.
