The law has already been passed. It will go into effect in 2022.

For some, that’s a long shower lol

But here is something sobering from my days of irrigation past. A 15’ radius pop up Rainbird plastic sprinkler head uses 3.6 gallons per minute. Half sprays or 180 degree heads use 1.8 gpm

Most areas of yards with sprinklers can have 5 or more of these heads or 18 gallons per minute. PER STATION! During the hot season, sprinkler timers are often set for a MINIMUM of 10 minutes a day depending on the grass type, amount of shade, landscape material etc. that is ONE station. I had customers with 20+ stations at some larger homes.

Forget taking showers or flushing the toilets lol. Some of the people we elect to be in charge are freaking idiots - amazing.

Is the 55 gallon per person, per home? Totally random and bogus number, and how can you demand the same thing for different property types and sizes?

This is one thing I don’t miss about Cali. Embeciles running the show, heavy taxes, and not business friendly.
