This is what separates Kobe from everyone else. Embrace the hate. Mentality-wise, he and Jordan may be the only players ever who actually enjoyed being hated, enjoyed being the villain.
Who thinks anyone would forget Kobe? WTF is wrong with people saying stupid s*** like that. We have "few" retired jerseys in the rafters, players of the past are still celebrated, well known and respected.
I honestly think this is why certain "Laker" fans are hating on Bron. It's like they feel they have to choose between Kob or Bron...uh, no you don't! Each of those dudes can do something special in a Laker uni and you know who comes out the ultimate winner...our Lakers franchise. Player fans/haters in a team sport are the worst...I'm sorry, but they really are. Hahaha
I don't know what anyone would think we'd forget about Kobe and what he's done. Unless your a young kid who only watched Kobe in his last years or so and didn't understand the gravity that he had with this city.
I think Kobe should have kept his mouth shut because this was a lose lose situation for him. But I assume his ego got in the way.
You can’t preach the mamba mentality and let anybody off the hook. Kobe can simultaneously admire LeBron, root for him, be impressed with his skills, his durability (Lebranium) and still demand more. It’s what Mamba’s do
Well you can't claim to be all about championships and then threaten to leave the Lakers for the..... cLippers. Y'all thought Bron was a narcissist...nothing beats thinking so highly of yourself to the point that you're leaving a legit and proven champion to go get titles as a cLipper. Had to be said and try to refute me on that when y'all know it's the absolute truth. Plus, you probably demand Shaq/Phil stay if you were all about title life, but I've already said too much. It's not Kob's job to help recruit, but I sure hope he's willing to help his boy Rob out if things get a little nutty this summer. He's a Laker for life, right? So go prove it and help our Lakers then.
Honestly not trying to hear from Kobe at this time. Wait until the major moves are either made or no longer viable. Then I can listen to him after the free agency period.
