Some names to keep an eye on as risers in the draft:

Obviously DiVincenzo and Huerter are risers right now. Could end up in the late-teens.

Elie Okobo- First showed up on my radar when DraftExpress profiled him a few months ago. He's lighting up his French league right now. Lefty combo guard who could end up in the first round.

Melvin Frazier- Looked solid at the Combine. Could be a discount wing in the 2nd after a wave of them pass by.

Josh Okogie- Plays a little like Josh Hart; under the rim mostly but strong initiating contact and finding angles for shots. Not as good of a decision maker as Josh, but has the ability to get into the lane. Interesting late 1st/early 2nd pick.

    Kevin Hervey- See Frazier.

    Rawle Alkins- See Hervey.

Imagining their defense with him on the roster...

    Then trading for Kawhi...

    :Bangbrick4:

Cbags are about to own the East once Bron's out...LA needs to make their move asap!

That'd be a strange move for them. I love Bamba, but to expect him to come in and immediately be worth the assets they'd have to give up is asking a lot from the young man. They're built to compete right now.

I do hear there's a ton of availability in this draft though which I find interesting.

^^^Seeing what Stevens can do with youth is something I rather not continue to see. I can totally envision Horford moving to the 4 to make that staunch defense even more staunchier. They have enough youth to even trade for Kawhi.

But if not, Ky, Smart/Brown, Hayward/Tatum, Horford and Bamba own the East. Philly ain't doing s*** to that lineup.

More than the Dubs, I'm concerned with what's happening out East. The Cbags will continue to be the Eastern representative in the Finals and they're just a few opposing injuries away from getting to #18.

Oh man, don't be dissing my fellow Bruin! Pretty good call though from that photo. He's looking a little bit vampiric for sure. By the way how great is the original Nosferatu? Amazing cinema.

I don't think they have enough assets to trade up to the Top 5 and trade for Leonard.

1st round picks: They have their 27th overall 2018 pick and all their future picks. They have the more favorable between Sac/Philly 2019 pick (only protected for #1 overall pick). They have Clips 2019 (top 14 protected for '19 and '20). They have the Grizz 2019 pick (top 8 protected in '19, top 6 protected in '20, then goes unprotected).

Young assets: Brown, Rozier, Tatum, Yabusele and even a matched Smart

Looks like plenty of trade capital to me, especially if Kawhi forces the action (see how opportunistic they were in the Kyrie deal).

True, but you then used Brown and Tatum as potential pieces for them to still have around. At least one of them is out, probably Rozier too if they're making these moves.

Yeah, I said "if not" then..

Ky, Smart/Brown, Hayward/Tatum, Horford and Bamba

Otherwise they blow that roster/depth up, but holy s*** at the potential defense tho:

    Ky, Klaw, Hayward, Horford, Bamba

And if they make a play on Davis instead of Kawhi to put him at the 4 next to Bamba...I'm done.

I suppose if they completely emptied their clip, they could get there but that isn't Ainge's MO.

    Would be interesting of course.

I watched the whole thing. It was blah.. not a whole lot I didn't already know. I didn't agree with Woj on our pick. In their mock draft they did with Kevin Heuter already picked no way we'd pass on Donte IMO.

I wonder if Gelo would even get a Summer League try out from us? Definitely won't get drafted.

Interesting about Heuter getting an agent and staying in the draft, that means he's already got an in. Same with DiVi.

If Rob can pull strings this year and turn 1 draft pick into 2 again.

Atlanta has the 30 and 34. I could see us taking Huerter with the 30 and Okobo 34. That would be an insane pull.

It all depends on how things look from 1-24 I'd think, but that could be another draft winner for sure. If only one of Huerter and DiVincenzo are sitting there at #25, I would have a HARD time trading backwards away from them. If neither or both are on the board, I'm 100% good with trading backwards.
