I'm not that desperate. I'd rather draft Mudiay and or Russell then pay any money to Rondo.

That's my thought process. I don't want our FO to have the same mentality; we'll end up getting Mr. Right now instead of Mr. Right...

If Rondo could stay healthy (a huge if I know) I wouldn't mind him on the team with a reasonable deal, especially if we can grab Okafor or Towns in the draft.

I'm thinking that is what will happen. We will grab whichever guard is there with the 3rd or 4th pick and then sign someone out of Monroe, Jordan, Love etc.

Ok. I think everybody knows the risk. Rondo is injury prone and we know the deal with Kobe. I'll support whomever is on the team, but I'm realistic. We better provide some quality depth behind those two and Rondo better come cheap enough so we could equip our team with a more well balanced roster just in case something does happen, but I'm hoping nothing does...

The more i think-where amd how big(reach) is the market place for Rondo??? NYK has Calderon- for 2 vears at 8 per. They could not deal him. If Dallas does not make the 2 round, who will sign him for big money??? The contenders (west) all have a PG and all other are drafting or developing...

I think Rondo gets $12-14 million per in the offseason...

No to Rondo. Just no. There are plenty of young PG prospects that are hungry for a shot. Plus our Clarkson is proving he's a solid NBA caliber player.

Teams that have cap space and need a PG; abeer listed some teams that may be in need earlier in his response; also, could be us...

Will see, i hope is not us, but West is stucked with PG and East teams have a solid one or are rebuilding. I would rather give Lin something like 4/20.

I hope so, too. Nevertheless, it all depends on who we draft.

I don’t know if people have been watching how much Rondo’s game has fallen off. He is almost as bad as Deron Williams. He just doesn’t take the same beating as Deron because, I don’t know, he had success in the playoffs? Even though I know it’s better for us to get the bigman in the draft, part of my is praying we get the 3rd or 4th pick and have to take Russell or Mundiay. If we have Russell and Clarkson, there is no way we blow our free agent load on Rondo or even Dragic. We’d go after Monroe, and I’m MUCH better with that.

    If our team is

    Monroe/Davis
    Randle/Black/Kelly
    Kobe/Young/Houston Pick
    Clarkson/Kobe
    Russell/Lin/Clarkson

I’d be on board with this team.

This team is ok -battle for the playoffs-maybe if kobe is OK. I just dont get people saying bottom out and then sign KD + someone next year. He has a team already there(if not for all the injuries). He wont come to a team with 3-4 promising lottery picks.

    From Chris Haynes at Cleveland.com
Love is launching 8.1 threes per contest in his last seven games. His highest rate of threes taken was last season in Minnesota when he shot 6.6 a game, and that was along with the inside touches he received. No matter what the statistics suggest, Love is not in agreement on the big-man long distance tag.

“I heard some people calling me that but I know I’m not a stretch-four,” Love told NEOMG. “I’m a post player that can shoot. Right now I’m just doing what I’m called to do. For good, bad or indifferent, I’m playing my role and doing what’s asked of me. Tonight, I stayed out on the perimeter.”

    Another possibility; you never know...

He is definitely not happy. He cares about 3 things - money, winning, and comfort. (I guess that is about everyone in the NBA) The point here is that Love will stay in Cleveland as long as 2 of 3 of those things are in place. LA gives him 2 of 3 but I don't think he plans to take his talents to Figueroa Street anytime soon.

^Yeah, I'm not fond of Love nor his game that much. I'd rather develop Randle.
