Yes please to Kawhi, it'd be a homecoming for PG and Kawhi.
But man has this situation been weird for a franchise like the Spurs.

We don't need Lebron, we just need Ingram to start taking Lebron's supplements.

Seeing what those supplements have done to Bron, that would be one sad dome to "witness".

Not sure how accurate those rumors about Parker sleeping with teammates' wives/girlfriends were, but dude does seem to show a whole lot of shade to his guys.

It's not that weird actually, if it weren't for Duncan, Pop would have worn out everyone early and never had the success he's had. He may have had a Larry Brown type career where he had to leave to continue. Duncan putting up with his s*** helped a lot.

I still maintain Leonard is still out because he doesn't want to play with this old/no future roster in his prime .

Indirect and weird way to ask for a trade but this is my theory .

I go PG cause we know he wants to be here at home long term. He hasn't won a chip yet and I'm sure he's hungry for one. Also, unlike acute tendonitis, tendinopathy is chronic and permanent. We just don't know how frequent and proliferative Kawhi's condition would be?

Lastly we would have to wait a year to get Kawhi unless we want to lose assets in trading for him next season. With PG, we retain all our assests and just add his talents to the roster.

That doesn't sound like something one would hope for. More info.

Agreed. As of today, with no further medical evidence than what we've been presented on Kawhi, I go George all day.

If we got news that Kawhi is fine physically and is ready to play, then Kawhi.

How would everyone feel if this summer we traded for Kawhi and signed George?

    Let's say scenario 1:
    Trade Ingram/Kuzma/Cleveland 1st for Kawhi
    Sign Paul George
    Sign Lopez
    Keep Randle

    Lonzo/
    George/Hart
    Kawhi
    Randle
    Lopez

    Scenario 2:
    Sign George
    Sign LeBron
    Let Randle go
    Sign Lopez

    Lonzo
    George/Hart
    Ingram
    LeBron/Kuzma
    Lopez

    ?

I rather keep Ingram and kuzma than kawhi... They have as much potential and more than kawhi at this point

Our goal during the draft is to trade Deng. Then next goal is to keep Randle. Then after that set up meetings with George-LeBron-Cousins see who wants to be in purple n gold. If all fails resign Lopez, kcp and hate saying this but Isiah to 1 year deals to try for kawhi in free agency the following year.

I'm not giving up Ingram and Kuz if Kawhi is actively trying to leave.

I'm so over IT. He has to be at almost 100% prime to be a plus more than he's a minus out there. Too much on the edge. And yeah we could do better with the money.

Im not trading for Kawhi. Dude is a FA next summer plus he might need a head check. Im in for PG and Bron... while keeping Randle. That team with our other kids and maybe a "cheap Lopez" would be damn scary.
