i mean, they beat gs 2 out of 3 and have beaten the living snot out of the rest of the league. the refs love harden, the press loves harden/paul/dantoni. gs looks tired/unmotivated and their role players look worse than a year ago, when a leonard injury may have saved them. just sayin'

also, i probably will quit basketball fandom if this happens.

embiid looks like he may play the full season, as does simmons, so it's possible one could think the injuries are behind them. if fultz becomes sane again, i could see lebron thinking this is a good situation. and it's in the east. and don't they have space enough to bring another high dollar FA? or do i have that wrong?

No they don't even actually have a max offer for LeBron (35.4 million). They can get there relatively easily (dump Bayless and his 8 million), but they definitely don't have more than one max slot available.

You underestimate Harden’s ability to disappear in the playoffs at key times, and Chris Paul’s ability to somehow get injured. GS should not fear Houston, ‘Antoni fools gold.

One thing that everyone seems to forget. If that Brooklyn pick ends up becoming a top 3 pick the narrative changes. Cleveland would likely land another star through a trade and Lebron stays.

If they weren't willing to trade a pick that's slated for the 7th spot, why would they give up a top 3 pick?

Because they weren't getting enough back. Since the trade deadline the Nets have sled (2-8 record the last 10 games), increasing the value of that pick. It's becoming more and more likely that pick ends up Top 3.

I can not for the life of me understand how the hell people keep that nasally, lispy, donkey, Shannon Sharpe and that scarecrow Skip Bayless on TV.

And I can’t understand how Will Cain got his own show. Just because Ryen Russillo leaves doesn’t mean you hand the job to a talentless, unlistenable, little tool of a troll. It went from the SVP show, to the Russillo show, to the Will Cain show. Talk about a nosedive.

He does play a lot like Hart, I’d absolutely try to pick him up. We need the help, I am not confident in Caruso or GP2 replacing Hart.

I don’t understand why the Clippers are converting his two way contract and letting him go. How does that make sense?

Was Wallace the same guy we tried to sign before? Didn’t he have some off court issues?

Yes Lakers should try to sign Wallace. I saw nothing but positive play from him for the clippers.

I don't understand why they'd be willing to move it more if it becomes more valuable. I guess there's a chance that they can trade it for a veteran in order to convince LeBron to stay, but I don't see it. If that were something they were interested in doing, they'd have done it.

If that pick ends up being a Top 3 draft pick, there's some transformational players in the draft. The Cavs already are ready to rebuild around a young cast if/when LeBron leaves in Hood, Clarkson, Nance and now you could add Ayton or Doncic to that. That's the right play for them. Heck, it's probably the right play for LeBron who needs young guys around him at this point (like 2011+ Kobe).

It's not about their willingness to move the pick. The pick would have been gone by now if it had fetched a star at the deadline.

They have a track record of trading a #1 pick (Wiggins) for a star (Love) to appease Lebron. What makes you think they wouldn't do it again?

Because he and his posse are buying up all the real estate in L.A. from the Chinese?

LT got it on the first try. If the Cavs had gotten a guarantee from LeBron, they would have traded the pick. He refused to commit long-term. Hell LeBron refused to commit even if the Cavs traded for Paul George. Doesn't that tell you something about LeBron's mentality in Cleveland?
