Weak explanation. Silver is a wuss, Stern was a rat, I guess a requirement of being a commissioner is sucking.

WTH are you talking about Silver? Balance? You either allow past players to talk about young ones, or you don't, when the former are employed by an NBA team. There is no balance to that.

The only balance would be if you actually listened to the context. In no way saying "He is going to bring THEM championship" should be tampering. Especially when asked in a "old legend" capacity, rather that Lakers FO president.

Just listened to this and it's rubbish. Get the f*** out of here with your double standard. What a strange relationship the NBA has created with the Lakers. We were instrumental in building this to what it is today and they hate us for it.

Keep hitting us when we're down, makes it all the sweeter when we are back on top.

So I was watching the Rising Stars game and they had Andre Iguodala on as a guest speaker. They asked about him Embiid and he praised him.

So is that considered tampering too?

No, as history taught us, it is only tampering when anyone from the Lakers praises players from other teams.

I think players and coaches can say whatever they want. Only the GM's and owners are under "some" rules.

If this is the case... LOL. Get rid of this tampering BS because there's no way in hell you can enforce the rules.

Why would the league be so sensitive in what the lowly Lakers are doing? It's almost like they know that something big is coming.

“Sensitivity”? The word he was looking for was “fear”. The other owners are fearful and petty and will do anything to prevent us from becoming relevant again. I mean cripes they wrote letters to Stern that got the CP3 trade vetoed.

I think Silver is doing a good job, but he always looks squirrely to me for some reason.

The inconsistent standards of enforcement is irritating, as is the terrible officiating going on. Those are both on his watch. I hope he ends up with a solid legacy of moving the game forward when all is said and done.

Silver's handling of the Sterling situation will be his legacy... His explanations are the type that really don't tell you anything. Teflon.

So we gotta make this quick, Silver's in the building. You're only there for a year and then we'll throw an offer at you that Gilbert won't match. Meanwhile, you and JC getting in Bron's ear, right?
