    Edit- this is precisely the kind of thing people blew up the Lakers for. If Jordan walks this summer, they got zero value for him after he reportedly refused to sign an extension. Will people trash the Clippers and by extension Jerry West for this?

    Seriously, dude was the 10th pick in the draft. Mudiay was also traded today, another guy compared to D-Russ. We got better value than either of those guys. Another from the ‘14 draft was dumped today by Portland in Noah Vonleh, taken only 2 spots after Randle.

    I love what we did today. We waited for the last possible second to get the best possible deal. 2 expirings that can help us now and a 1st round pick and our only real loss was Nance. Got to keep Randle and still have a shot at re-signing him this summer.

    payton wasnt just a 10th pick, orl gave up sacric (quite decent) and phi pick back to get payton and at the time phi just got a ROY out of MCW, phi bluffed the crap out of orl

    I'll post the entire video later. Basically Magic was asking if the reporter, I think it was Bill Oram, wanted to give it a try in trading Deng away because Magic was like we've tried everything.

    Not even sugarcoating it. Deng remains an anchor around our necks. Maybe 2 firsts gets it done in the summer, but he’s likely still stretched if we want to get rid of him. He’s the floater in the bowl, just won’t flush.

    Tampering!

    Magic is the Lakers team president, no different than Nelson being the Mavs president. Also there's already talk that Harris could come back to the Mavs this summer, after the 6 month expiration window lapses.
