CLarkson and Randle's values couldn't be any higher right now and I think we'll easily get 1st round picks for both of those guys...

But if we got rid of Deng somehow...that would be amazing. I don't see why we don't just do Deng and our 2020 1st round pick for an expiring K, and then trade Clarkson for a first round pick, and keep Randle? IDK...I'm very split on what I wnat to do with Randle...don't want to lose him for nothing.

 

and yeah Pels are making MOVES...they know they have to make the playoffs this year and I think they will...Clippers traded away BG and Utah is another year away from being a playoff team.

This also means Pels are not going to flinch on Boogie..they'll give him the max cuz they have to...and because if they don't, another team, say the Lakers, will definitely give him the max.

 

Tony Allen is part of the deal too making it a 3 for 1 deal for Niko, so Pels cleared a roster spot for Monroe.





FYI both Nelson and Allen are expected to be bought out by the Bulls.

I think a trade for him is coming soon and he knows it. It's hard to see our young guys go after growing together this season, but we need to make moves for the future.

 

i'm one of the few who likes clarkson. if he's traded, i want something of tangible value (i.e., not just cap space and a late first rounder).

I could see us dealing with Utah, Chicago, Atlanta, Brooklyn, or Dallas at the deadline. I just hope we somehow offload Deng without having to offload Clarkson or Randle, and then we deal Clarkson for a 1st round pick and a nice expiring K that can contribute right now (Marco Bellinelli).
