Makes sense. I like this more than giving Kobe a jersey every year. I wonder how many ex Laker stars are going to embrace this though? Elgin, West, and Kareem don't strike me as big fashion fans. I could see Shaq, Magic, and Worthy getting into it... Who else qualifies?
Eventually Gasol should qualify. I think they’ll tap into role players that played key roles on championship teams, forever etching their name into Lakers Lore.
Is it just me or have we not seen the purple jerseys a lot this season. Not a fan of Nike doing away with the whole home/away color schemes.

Doing away with the traditional home/away uniforms has not gone over the smoothest, I know a lot of people who aren't fans of the move. Nike missed the mark on that one and aside from a few nice "city" edition uniforms, it seems their NBA rollout has been disappointing. It hasn't surprised me one bit, either. Poor quality and cheap marketing gimmicks define that company these days, their work when it comes to UK has been laughable for a while now and I was afraid it would happen to my Lakers as well. Unfortunately, it has - our only color is apparently lemon yellow.
I was in NY so I went to the NBA store and it has absolutely nothing from the Lakers city edition ( just jerseys for the kids) ... WTF Came back home and the city edition collection was available on the French website I usually order from ( just Lonzo when it comes to jerseys though) I bought the shorts and this sweat

I google'd this and didn't find anything, not even on Mike's official site, Twitter, etc. I made a custom LeBron James #23 home "gold" jersey because they weren't made officially on sale yet (apparently they can't sell them until the ink is on the paper). Custom jerseys are unreturnable. It was authentic too. FUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Maybe i'm a noob at this (since I don't really buy jerseys that often), but everywhere I go on the internet the authentic jerseys with the Nike and Wish logo are either not sold or sold out in the size I want. Any ideas where/how I can buy them? I live in DTLA, so I can also go to any physical store.
