It's why yesterday's game to me for them was a must-win. I would've been extremely disappointed if we lost even without Zo, Slenderman, and KCP because I wanted them to stick it to Prichard very badly.

its a small sting to him....so far they have a winning record, a guy who quietly turning in a stat line just like pg n a solid prospect....cant really blame him for trying to rob us in order to give into pg demands...supposedly mgmt made no offers at all so we can only take the rumored indy demands

^^^Fake news bruh. Lakers did make an offer of Jules or JC attached with 27 & 28 for George. If Pritchard kept squeezing, I'm sure JC AND Jules along with the picks would be our final offer. Of course I'm biased here, but I think that our package is not only cheaper but allows more flexibility than the OKC offer since Jules is a restricted FA and we also included 2 1st rounders. I still think PG is ours this summer cause no matter how well OkC does in the regular season, the playoffs are a different animal and they will simply revert to hero ball and fail in doing so.

I believe abeer called it, but Hood is on the block and seeing how he's a RFA, it'll be interesting to see what he fetches in trade proposals so that we can compare it to the Randle trade market.

Also Utah is heavy in trade talks right now, per Stein, cause they have Favors and JJ (22M in expiring Ks) also on the table. You would think Pelinka is hitting them up with potential offers.

Hood I think has less value than Julius. If Julius will struggle to find a max deal like some think, there's no way Hood is getting something big.

It’s hard for me to evaluate Jazz players, because I only watch Jazz games when they play us. And that’s not a good way to judge a player, because typically when they play us Hood looks like a superstar. Favors evaluated on the same system appears to be a Cousins-like always angry for no reason douche.

disagree. two-way wings are really valuable right now. it's actually how we ended up with the dengbatross--which occurred only AFTER kent bazemore turned down our ridiculous offer.

i agree he's not fetching anything big on the trade market, though. teams know utah will balk at a sizable offer (as does utah).

ironically, favors has repeatedly taken randle's lunch money. i think favors is pissed because all he's done is improve and contribute in his career, and nobody seems to care. i'd gladly take him.

Yeah, never considered Hood as a defender. In fact, Hood's replacements in Alec Burks and Royce O’Neale are MUCH better defenders.

Hood is a poor man's Harrison Barnes.... with less offense. less rebounds, less defense.... MEH.

I think Hood is a very good player, I just hate the Jazz and was mainly making a joke at their expense. Have always and will always hate the Jazz. Favors, haven’t seen him play enough.

Favors has been injury prone ( didn't pay attention this season though).

Anyways , did y'all see this short Pelinka video ?

The 2 maxs talk isn't crystal clear anymore

If anyone could restart Deng's career, it's Pop. That's where old/slow players go right?

boy if Kawhi is even remotely available...I go all in on him.

Ingram/Randle/Clarkson for Kawhi? Pop loved Randle (from olympic time) and Ingram and CLarkson is from San Antonio...

Hell would freeze over if San Antonio even trades Leonard... Not like them to do so with an incumbent on their squad.

I grabbed this from the Pelinka thread cause (surprise surprise) I once again agree with Real here in that alot of what is released to the media by NBA officials is a means to send out a message and gain leverage in ongoing trade discussions.

So there's no surprise here that the Mavs GM Donny Nelson pretty much publicly stated how he over-valued their current talent pool... Almost in a direct response to Pelinka's public message.
