    Since getting consistent minutes....

    416 minutes - 27 turnovers / 51 assists

Only 6 turnovers in the last 156 minutes played. With how much he's handling the rock, I think it's a great sign with how well he's taking care of the ball. He had a really solid game tonight. Such a steal.

Thanks for posting this...he was impressive on BOTH ends tonight; good job, Clarkson. He still has so much more to grow, too.

Sweet game from JC! Glad to see them two working together, but it still irks me that Nash is barely showing face now, as opposed to at the start of the season. Makes me wonder where he'd be at had Nash been teaching him from the get-go.

I remember at the start of the year, Clarkson playing out of control, trying to do too much and playing like he didn't know where his next minute was coming from. Byron keeping on the bench with Lin Price and NASH in front of him. He has so much potential to be a keeper, and I think his natural talent is matched by his will to learn and win (why are more N.B.A players or all of them like this?) I am not mad that he won today (even though I should be).

I am glad he is repaying our faith, especially the vanguard here who scouted him in the summer leagues and told us he would be more than just a nothing second rounder. I wonder now was Clarkson bought in as a steal or to be used in development in case Nash fell over (give a rookie chance to flourish in a tank year?) I mean I was taken aback when Kobe went out, but I didn't bat an eyelid when Na$h ca$hed out his chip$.

I think hes gonna be a very solid rotation player for the lakers in the future. Hard worker and obviously likes learning and improving his game. Kinda rare these
    days sadly.

He smoked Exum tonight in minutes, points, production. Not even close. Is it possible we really wound up with the better player????

Meh, no need to speculate on that. He's getting his opportunity now, and proving a lot.

The thought of this guy and D'Angelo Russell as our starting backcourt next season is VERY intriguing. Two combo guys who can bring the ball up the floor. Kobe slides in at sf. Randle and Ed Davis as our bigs. Not saying that team makes the playoffs, but it would finally be a team that I'd be interested in watching develop. Kind of would remind me of the days when we drafted Van Exel and Jones, picked up 'Chise.

I get the feeling people will look back at this draft class and say two things:

    1. The Lakers got Randle AND Clarkson that year? Wow!

    and

    2. How did Clarkson NOT make it to the Rising Stars Game his rookie season??

Keeper... Liked Clarkson's game from the beginning. He was not raw IMO but undisciplined and the pro game was a notch or two faster than what he was used to leading to undisciplined decisions on the court. Nash assisted in having Clarkson slow down his thought process on the floor and let the game come to him. Cliché? Yes but likely true. At least that hoser is doing something for the franchise.

Not sure about number 2 just because I think 99% of the population either doesn't know the rising stars game exists or they forget it exists. :D

But if we keep our pick and end up with Okafor and draft a solid wing defender with that Houston pick, I definitely see people looking back at these last two seasons and saying, "Well, they sucked but it was worth it."

Glad you noticed it. Nash is impacting his game; you could see it. Since Nash is staying in L.A., he should offer summer workouts to Clarkson, too. LOL.
