It's not that I feel that way necessarily (often I do), but it's what the people will see. There are millions of people that will hate Trump no matter what he does. He could cure cancer and there'd be (no exaggeration) millions of people who would still hate him. That's just reality.

Personally, I couldn't honestly care less. Trump is going to say and do things I don't agree with. All I can do is keep my head up, try to spread common sense and decency, and try to keep a dialogue even with people that see things differently than I do. It's the only way you can grow.

It doesn't matter anyway. All of this will be undone by Oprah/Hillary in 2020 and then that'll be undone by The Rock/Kevin Hart in 2024.

And I'm sure whoever the Republican Party would've brought in would've tried the same, and at least, whoever Bernie would've appointed.

But Devos is the furthest from qualified to be Sec. of Education. If she wanted to be the Financial Advisor to the SoE, fine, but her stances on discrimination and rights for LGBT children has been nothing short of BS.

Hey I wouldn't have hired her either. You don't have to tell me all the problems with her. Some of what she's doing in slashing budget I can understand, but she's still unqualified and her attitude towards progressive movements is certainly a giant turnoff.

Personally, I don't think education needs cutting, I think it needs reform and asset reallocation. We should be siphoning money out of our defense budget and into our future. I'm not saying defense isn't important, but the greater threat to our future might not be North Korea, it might be the uneducated masses flooding your Twitter feed.

That's been my sentiment throughout this political nonsense. If we had more voices to speak up, we wouldn't have a silent majority, and we wouldn't have such a big divide if education was more accessible and integrated with the rest of America.

I think people that hate Trump need to take a moment to realize that the other option was Hillary Clinton.
Neither were good options, but Trump was thought to be the lesser of two evils. Probably true too.

But darn, Trump is a hard to like Narcissist nut.

Now Trump's calling a former 4 star Marine general ..... and his current chief of staff "another nut job". Never seen anything anywhere with this crazy of a nation's leader except North Korea. And both of them hurling insults at each other with both having fingers on the nuclear button. Perfect. "Ivanka looking for his replacement"

I will say this, I love his aggressiveness, but the man does not know how to be humble...

He didn't even do anything. He wasn't even involved with any of what went down there.

What's there to be humble about. He's taking credit for the stupid Dems relying on a "promise" that DACA will be reviewed, which it won't. Then next February, you'll see another shutdown.

Also, why are we still pouring money into the military? Put it to Veteran Aid, put it to fixing the Social Security system, not more tanks. He's an idiot.

You know damn well people only complain about out veterans and homeless epidemic when attempts to help other people are made. When bombs gotta be dropped, not a peep.

I agree with veteran aid, social security is a mess. Privatize that crap. The government can’t be a form of retirement, just can’t be sustained, at least that’s what I feel.

I believe the homeless epidemic is a result of a few things. Mental health, and drug addiction... I have met only 1 true down on their luck homeless individual. Not saying they don’t exist, but I just believe the majority is a result of the former. Fix those things, and a large portion on the homeless epidemic could be fixed

It all starts with education. In terms of drug addiction, it starts with Big Pharma.

Is there something wrong with trade schools and on the job training besides the fact that people with sociology degrees think they are special? The educated masses brought Trump on with their arrogance and social issues crusading, monoculture seeking attitudes.

I love it when people try to use educated as an insult.

Clearly memorizing, reciting and magical papers means that someone magically gains wisdom and understanding...

Just like the civic service exam in the Chinese Empire.

Ok. So you hate people who (you think) think they're better than you, so you put in office a person whose whole shtick is thinking he's better than people. A+ reasoning. No, this has nothing to do with arrogance. In fact, people who voted trump LOVE arrogance. It's one of his main selling points.
