KD gets dunked on all night and then makes the game winner, gg. We probably wasted our last time out and could have used it at the end there.

Our effortless scorer Kuzma wasn't involved enough down the stretch ... far from it

Another game gift wrapped to the opponent

KCP is mentally challenged to say the least

The sad part is that he has implemented free throw shooting drills, these guys simply aren't executing. It makes me think they're probably in their own heads about it at this point.

But Kobe said it best: you're not nervous when you know you've prepared. Take free throws enough and it becomes second nature, you don't need to worry about it. Why aren't these second nature to these guys?

If I were one of these kids, I wouldn't leave the stadium until I hit 500 FTs.

Free throws. Free throws are legitimately costing us games now. We were in the bonus most of the 4th, and it didn’t help us at all. Also, some truly horrendous calls by the refs this game. KCP was fouled on a drive by Durant, JC hit rim they called him for catching his own miss.

Yeah no kidding. He is the most consistent and unrattled, cool offensive player out there and he's been hitting at a good clip all night with a repertoire of moves and shots larger than anyone else out there but he's like the 3rd or 4th option and always has to create something for himself. No plays run to free him up.

The missed fts are inexcusable. But the frustrating thing is that there were 3 huge non-called fouls on KD, meaning he should have fouled out. He hit Ingram in the head on the Javale goaltend and he hit Randle in the head on his dunk in the first. Then there was the no call on kcp.

Good teams are able to overcome what happened last night; this just sums up the last 5 or so years, that we just suck. Promising young core, but the losing gets tiresome.

It seems the refs were out to ensure we lose in this game. Shameful, Missing FTs is unforgivable

Free throws, refs (non calls in their favor, ticky tack fouls against us at the same time), and just not getting it done. We almost had it. The last two possessions were so rough, Lonzo gets switched on KD who is a killer and drains it, then Lonzo gets stuffed trying to lay it up. In the future he needs to slam that home and get an and one instead of putting it up and getting it blocked. Growing pains!!!

Or not have KCP run down the court and launch a shot when he could have given it to BI or call a timeout...

    - It's always labeled growing pains, etc, but you could clearly see how that game was gonna end a mile away.

-KCP bricks, missed assignments /bad switches /no floor awareness on both ends, Clarkson running into traffic leading to turnovers, Randle clanking free throws, burning a timeout because your shoe was off..

-At some point its beyond grating. Even for a team that's supposed to be learning.
