Wow a former #3 pick and you have to send a draft pick out to get back an expiring deal... GG Philly for drafting 20 centers and killing their value.

Also an interesting kid. He's the super athlete, but doesn't do a ton else.

Man, Brooklyn will take anyone, we really should be doing everything we can to get them to take Deng.

This is Sean Kilpatrick at his best for what it's worth.

Via Bobby Marks in regards to Kilpatrick and Jones Jr.

Also recall that we've been linked to Kuzi who's another shooter/scorer on the market.

Oh and remember when this guy came and visited us and Rob earlier this season...

At the right price and with team doctors okaying the return (remember Miami had some incentive in moving off of Bosh's contract at that time), I wouldn't mind Bosh linking up with LaBron and possibly Wade next season here in LA.

Honestly I'm not sure he could get cleared. It's one thing to work out on the sidelines, but another thing entirely to play a game. The cardiovascular load is so different.

I'd like if he was part of the organization in some way. I thought he handled his time in Miami with as much class as you could ask for given the circumstances.

Quite kind of in a precarious situation with JR/JC: they keep us competitive and help us win games.

However if the Front Office desires to free up more cap space, I believe JR and JC can be dealt without any salary coming back and draft compensation; if the Front Office wanted to go that route.

Question is timing. Can we wait until draft night or do you make a move now? Interesring dilemma...

and I would like to keep Randle. Fyi.

Agreed completely LVBD. JR and JC have played their roles better than anyone else on the roster thus far this year. They do keep us competitive in every game and dealing them for nothing back would truly hurt our chances to win games this season. It would also hurt our attractiveness to the very FA's that we are trying to get here. Personally I would only deal JC if it was a move to dump Deng but honestly why would anyone take so much salary? Between Deng and JC's contracts that's a ton. I see us dumping Deng with Zu more likely or maybe Larry or Bryant or Hart. Then again who in the world will take Deng, period? I just don't know.

They shouldn't be dealing Randle right now - he's too valuable if we strike out in FA, or even if we do get FA's depending on which ones. I don't think he'll be on the block.

As sort of a blueprint, I'd look at what the Sixers did with Okafor. We could attach Zubac or Bryant to Deng along with a more useful player like Nance or Hart and take back expiring deals. Chicago and Atlanta are the only really good options right now.

How generous of Noel to take the minimum to team up with LeBron. I mean that must be the case because otherwise no thanks, rather keep Randle.

I'm not going to lie; I've been desiring a guy with Noel's physical attributes. I have a love for guys who are extremely long, athletic, and can jump through a gym. Noel can be a cancer, but damn those physical attributes; almost 7'-feet with shoes, nimble, can cover ground, he can rim protect, etc. Yes, I know the narrative on him.

Carlisle is a genius, and there is a chance if Carlisle can't find a way to utilize him, then why take the chance? Of course we have to see how the season progresses, but for the right price, I'm will to give him an opportunity. I mean, why not? And if James wants him on his team, in order for him to be sign, here, then I'm sure Magic will bite the bullet.

I've said this before: I need my Center to do 3 things in this era of basketball; defend, rebound, and finish. If he can do those 3 things at an elite level, we're good. Additionally, he has to be able to set screens effectively; that opens things up for all of our ball-handlers. Think what Jordan does for the Clippers. I know some in here don't like him or just flat out think he's not a very good basketball player, but I'm willing to give him a shot if the price is right as already mentioned...

PG+DJ and re-signing Randle wouldnt be a bad at worst plan ;) DJ allows you to run Kuz/Randle as the starter.

    Ball/Caruso
    PG/Blue
    Ingram/Hart
    Kuzma/Randle
    DJ/Zubac/Bryant

I dunno how much money wed have, if any along with exceptions.
