    I don't know either. What happened to Roo? I remember he had some pretty serious health issue that popped up. Did he pass away?

    I can't believe I missed this. I was a fan of Roo's even though I didn't love his politics, cause he was always so knowledgeable and insightful. I don't post a lot here because you guys are all so quick and on top of things, I rarely have anything all that valuable to add (until the day comes when it's finally safe to drop the DLO bombs). But I come here and read LB every day. I did with CL too, and Roo was a MAJOR contributor. I seriously cannot believe that's how the Rooscooter story panned out.

    Whoa, that is just insane. I didn't know Barns, but thanks for posting that thread. That's crazy. Like some others here, I was not a fan of most of Roos' takes. But I definitely got caught up in his lie about being sick and felt bad for him. So weird! Good riddance.

    the roo story never gets old because it's still mindblowing that someone would go to such extremes over an internet forum. i should've known something was off about him when he'd post novel after novel on CL. i honestly don't think i ever read more than a couple sentences of his posts
