True. He could come back a lot more polished after this summer now that he's getting all this excellent experience against 1st string players. He will know and it will be spelled out to him in the exit interview what he most needs to work on.

^^^ Oh hell yeah!! What a great move by Mitch, scouts (Mitch?) and front office. Isn't Jerry West's kid scouting for us too? Or am I hallucinating?

I agree JC is doing better. But with that said he is averaging 13 shots a game while Exum is averaging 8 shots a game.

Still..... impressive job from Mitch and company of getting this kid in the 2nd round.

As well as..... maybe JC at this point in his development is just better at creating and getting his shots off. And once again ..... LOVE that he has a good "floater". Glock had a great one but was just too short and not "great short guy good enough" to stick. Floaters are COOL. Would not worry about JC's age. Exum is a bit too young and is coming from not as good competition getting to the NBA. Perhaps a bigger leap for him at his tender age. And we did not get him so heavy rationalization is allowed. Bit of SSS (small sample size), but as the ballhandler in the P&R, Clarkson PPP: 0.85, Lin PPP: 0.78. Didn't expect that one.

No clue if Nash has worked with Clarkson, but the way he's keeping his dribble alive on the P&R when the 2nd defender commits seems like it.

3.4 to to 1 assist to TO ratio over the last 5...

They will work over the all star weekend. I dont think Nash will be dealt, aparently nobody needs an expiring contract.
Would like to have him back as an assistant coach, to teach all the young guys will have next year.

I guess a lot of teams have been asking for him in trade discussions Mitch has been having leading up to tomorrow.

Under what circumstances would you be ok with Mitch shipping him out?

I mentioned this in the FA thread. When we picked up the phone to initiate talks with Cha inquiring about Lance, they wanted Clarkson. I wouldn't part with him right now.

Funny enough, the only two players I heard requested by other teams is Clarkson/Randle. Our other players just don't hold much value.

Well I think Hill holds value, but Randle and Clarkson are obviously our biggest assets right now. They're NBA players on small contracts. The new CBA loves those guys.

I'd like to believe that. I am hard pressed too, though.

I mean Hill's production is pretty great for a 9 million dollar guy actually. He's at 12/8 with 1.4 assists, almost a block, and almost half a steal a game. That's not bad for 9 million a year. He's doing that in 28 minutes and his per36 stats are roughly 16/10 with a block and almost 2 assists. That's really solid for 9 million. Heck, if we didn't need the open cash, I'd keep him.

It would take a pretty solid deal for me to give up JC. I wouldn't put him in the untouchable category, but he's pretty close. He's raised the eyebrows of the league with teams calling for him, that tells me (Along with watching him), we got a good player brewing on our hands.

I wouldn't even trade him for a pick in the teens. The guy has shown a lot of growth just during the season. He strikes me as someone who genuinely wants to get better. I'd rather take my chances on JC's development at this point.

Needs to speak up in interviews like he's got a pair and is looking for his first endorsement deals. Not happening now of course, but if he acted like he was all that his interviews would be better. I know he's a rook but just saying'.
