Should've let Ethier pinch hit for him instead. At least we won't have to see the Grandys tomorrow with Kike and Barnes vs. Ray.
great double play by Seagar to end the inning. Morrow looks great shutting the DBacks down. I'd like to get a run or two in bottom 8. I'd settle for the win without the runs though.
Boom Seager gets that RBI triple. Now JT with the base hit RBI to score seager. Keeping it simple. got my 2 runs.
I didn't like Kershaw giving up all those line out homers, but everyone else did great. Those homers were pretty fluky. I loved just about everyone's at bats. The only two who struggled at the plate were Grandal and Granderson, moreso Grandal. Let's go Hill! Today is going to be the real tough game.
If Dodgers rake on Ray today, Dbacks will panic for Game 3 and this should be a sweep. Walker had mowed down the Dodgers as the only visiting pitcher to win 2 games at Dodger stadium. They took him out. Dodgers need to hit like they did yesterday all playoffs and there isn't a chance anyone has against them.
Doing damage on Ray now. My big concern is with Seager and Bellinger, they are not having good at bats; they're just hacking at every pitch Ray throws.
It's hard to hit Ray on the left side. You have to get lucky. All the righties are killing Ray though, so, just keep it going. I think the Dodgers need another 2 runs and they should have this.
That's true, but I think they should show a little bit more patience and not just swing at nearly every pitch that's offered by him. At least Ray is out now. We've been able to hit at their bullpen a bit.
Nice sweep by the Dodgers. I’m not a fan, but my mid-80’s grandparents are and I root for all LA teams (except the Clippers and Chargers, both should go back to San Diego), so I’m hoping they can win it all this year. The Cubs ended their drought last season, I say it’s the Dodgers turn. Yeah, I realize Cleveland has the much longer drought, but who cares.
That last at bat was incredibly dramatic. The Dodgers played about as well as could be expected this series. The diamondbacks fought back hard today and the Dodgers really should have won by a large margin but it was a good series. It only gets worse from here though against either Washington or Chicago. Both are great teams with strong pitching. I'd probably prefer Chicago, but it's close.
look at how desperate they were to keep us out of their pool! I'm glad the players I've been critical in the past (Forsythe) was able to play really well. Our bullpen is looking strong. I'm loving the addition of Maeda to the pen.
Rematch with the Cubs. I wanted to get to the series through the team that dumped on us last season. Revenge is upon us
