I am leaning the same way. I could see us taking a gamble on Tyus Jones, but I think I would rather grab a SF especially if a guy like Hollis-Jefferson is around.

You never know, DH is out for a month and they have a pretty tough schedule ahead, so i hope they lose some games, then our pick would be in the 21-24 range (now they are tied for the 6 best record), i can see some teams moving ahead (SAS,LAC, Bulls), that could get it done.

He's not staying...remember, last year? There were rumors of Parker staying; it never materialized. He's gone after this year....

if Lakers get first pick, he wouldn't even think of staying.

I seriously don't think it matters. Just the prospect of landing in LA or NY as the #1 pick (guaranteed 20 million basically), it doesn't make sense to stay in school. That's so much money you're leaving on the table. If he ends up in one of the major media markets you're talking about major commercials, shoes maybe, jerseys, clothing line, movies, etc.

Projected 1rounds in 95% declare-if they do not(injuries) they live 3-5mil on the table.
They know it, their agents-i know it...
No one has ever declined the second-max contract...if you think that Davis will you are delusional(maybe with 2MVP and 2banners)...

I feel like EVERY top prospect in the past few years has said that they'd consider staying in college. They say this during the school year ... but once the season is over, they start to see the $$$ and wisen up.

I can't imagine anyone staying in school if LA and NY have the top pick for most of the reasons already given.

I don't blame him for saying this though right now though. This is the time for teams to really be ramping up and march madness will be here before you know it. I think its best for him and any other prospect to focus on being a great player at college and leading their team as far as they can in the tournament. Plenty of time to worry about the NBA after the season is over.

I haven't seen enough to really say if the comparisons are bogus are not, but I have read that in several articles including the ones below. I will say that Mudiay has looked athletic and has had no trouble getting to the hoop in any clip I have seen of him whether overseas or high school. He doesn't look as fast as Wall though.

Take into account the competition that Mudiay is facing; he's playing in a league where it's still making Marbury look good...

O I agree completely. Not many times, in fact this might be a first where both LA and NY were bottom feeders. You don't pass up an opportunity to play for a mass market and with star player potential just because he like the college life. No way to stays.
