That's great, but what he really needs is an MRI or a CT scan. An X-Ray won't show specific soft tissue damage. A lot of times torn, partially torn, or even over stretched ligaments and tendons and cartilage rich areas are more harmful than a broken bone. Bones usually heal quickly and come back stronger. Cartilage, ligaments, and tendons don't. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
Tarik's the starter with Hill out. I saw it on the internet.... has to be true. http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fa...-to-start-tarik-black-in-place-of-jordan-hill
Tarik has been playing really well with the extra minutes. He's doesn't quite have the length to go 1-on-1 with the longer PF/C, good strength, but he is an excellent rebounder and help defender. Good hard worker.
He's a perfect big man for the 2nd unit and spot starter. He hustles, he's physical, he's defensive minded. I would love to have him stick around.
I love that we only owe him that much. He's a much better player overall than Sacre for what we need of him.
We would be stupid to let him go if he can be kept at that price. He's better than Sacre, and comparable to Ed Davis for a fraction of the price.
I'd be totally fine with Tarik and Ed taking care of the center position if we can get a talented PG and SF (draft + FA), with Randle coming back healthy.
