I have one that I use when we travel and know folks that use it on their main tv and they work ok for sure. I am just saying they also have some limitations. Like only 1 gb or ram, no Ethernet port(makes a huge difference), no usb ports for accessories, and the issues above. The are 40$ or so and for another $30 you can grab a mi box that has double the ram, has 4k, her, an otg, usb, expandable memory, and audio control via it's remote. Also easy to set up they are not. You have to install a file browser like es, set up a source for appstarter or a place where you are hosting Kodi, then install appstarter, then install Kodi and configure it. On Android or Android TV devices you just go to the play store and install it. On top of that you have to manually update it too vs auto update. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
I'm with Sama here. Shield is beyond awesome, well worth the $. I had a Sony TV that run an Android, what a failure. Now hooked up SHield to a Sammy TV and it works like a charm. Still, can't wait till i can afford an OLED from either LG or Panasonic (Sony design choice makes it a "no no" for me).
Am I doing this wrong with all these sticks and boxes cause I just plug an laptop I don't use anymore into my TV, wireless keyboard/mouse and I'm good.
Laptops and older desktops work fine, you just get a little more polished experience with the right setup. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Alright well I change my mind about this based on the end of Ep 5: Spoiler The new Avengers are clearly Jon Snow, Tormund, Jorah, Gendry, the Hound, Beric and Thoros
Justice League of Westeros. This legitimately felt like a whole season within an episode. Just so much happened, gonna have to rewatch it .
Michael Phelps got nothing on Jaime f****** Lannister. Dude swam what, half a mile in a full plate armor
Spoiler Yeah. I thought this was pretty stupid. I mean, it actually looked like Braun carried Jamie a half mile. They were 10 feet from Drogon when they went in the water and when they come up for air they are half a mile away? How did they get away? Tryrion knew they didn't die. That part was really lazy writing. C'mon guys. They are clearly the Seven Samurai.
This was so preposterous. It was the laziest writing I've seen on the show in a while. We all knew he wasn't going to die, but they couldn't think of a clever way to make that happen? C'mon. Yikes. Spoiler This was maybe my favorite episode and it wasn't action packed at all. HOW HAS NOBODY MENTIONED THAT JON SNOW IS A TAGARYEN AND IS THE RIGHTFUL HEIR THE THE IRON THRONE?? I mean we all suspected it, but the fact that Raegar's marriage was annulled too means that Jon isn't a bastard, he's a legitimate son of Raegar which makes him the rightful heir moreso even than Danny.
I've been enjoying the pace of the show this season, every episode something exciting happens. It does force you to set aside all notion of travel time around Westeros. But what's worse is we miss out on a lot of fun dialogue. Like that whole group at the end can spend half an episode just connecting the dots.
