How practical would it be to have the numbers and logos all match in color? That's the only thing that bugs me about some of the designs, and yes, I do realize this isn't new.
I'll wait til I see them in reality ... Nike has been doing a poor job at making the real colors for a while .. I wouldn't get surprised if it was a really weird yellow instead of gold for example
is their uni really "gold"? I mean it look just like the same colors as gsw and indy but they call theirs yellow
Thank the Lord Nike didn't mess anything up for us. Our uniform is the perfect blend of modern and traditional, the way it should be for a franchise like the Lakers, and I'm glad it was kept that way. Let's hope the fourth set is the original version of the Hollywood Nights, without the sleeves, and the rumored MPLS classics live up to their potential.
They don't look much different to me, so I like them. I think the Nike swoosh looks better than the Adidas logo, and now we don't have to worry out them trying to turn them into soccer jerseys anymore.
The Nike logo looks much better on ours than it does on the other uniforms across the league. Where the armhole and neck piping/coloring is so thin, the swoosh doesn't look anywhere near as clunky as it does on Philadelphia's, for example.
I prefer the Unis from the 70s - 90s, with the colored numbers and without the v-neck or the stripes on the sides of the unis. Obvs just a matter of taste, but I've never been big on the year 2000 redesign.
I'm the opposite, the 2000 jerseys are probably still my favorite. The change from tank top to more of a cut off sleeves shirt look was cool to me, that's what I play in. Those jerseys with the thin shoulder straps look very dated to me now.
I think the concepts from pg 1 would've still worked, except the purple ver., looked to much like NYK uni's....would love if they adopted the hollywood nights one from the concept ver.
Wow that actually looks pretty sweet when you see it worn. And lol at the BBB photoshop. Funny thing is some teams do have sponsorship. I don't like Denver's new uniforms for example. They're plain, boring, have a Western Union logo on them, and for some reason the color scheme and WU logo make them look like West Virgina basketball jerseys to me.
Hahaha very true, I don't dig these joint sponsorships with the jerseys. But hey at least it's not like soccer (futbol) in other countries where sponsorships are taking over their entire jerseys. I like the Cavs logo with the Goodyear logo, it looks cool. Worst is the Minny logo with Fitbit and with those new horrible jerseys just don't mesh well. I wouldn't mind Tesla sponsoring the Lakers lol
