She knew who Magic is, but people that don't watch sports are sometimes that oblivious to names that they could make the mistake and call him Magical. It was just a slip of the tongue that her co host gave her s*** for.
How does the home page scroll get updated? Any way to do it where it shows maybe the most popular threads from the past week or couple days? Cause it has some pretty dated stuff at the moment.
What are you talking about? I for one am very excited about the prospect of drafting Ball and that Russ is going to be a star.
I'm not. I'm more excited about Magic cleaning house but not sure if he's going to be running the show.
It gets updated when someone creates a thread with a photo it can use as the image for the page. The problem is, even when there is a new topic people don't add a photo to represent the topic, so it usually ends up that I have to add one, and if I don't or forget, it doesn't get added to the home page. So if you want a topic added to the home page scroll, add a photo to the first post.
I just added KCP's discussion to the slide list, since you mentioned updating things, still I can't be the only one adding a good photo if people want the home page updated.
Since we keep things in the same threads (Ex: all Ball stuff in Ball thread) the new Ball news won't have an opportunity to show up there either. It's a good point to bring up. Will new visitors think that maybe the forum is dead if only old topics seem to exist?
I do too. So fitting and the facial expression from Kobe, almost licking his lips). Kobe is the killer and Lonzo is the mover (ball mover).
I just ordered this picture on Canvas on Demand - 16 X 20 with the top line of words cut out for $30. They're having a big end of year sale going on.
Save the picture to your desktop or phone. Click this link: http://www.canvasondemand.com/ Click on the Green 16X20 Premium Canvas in middle of the page. You upload the photo and it'll ask you to resize if you want to (I had the words at the top and some of the right cropped out). Then give address and credit card info. I've ordered pictures from them in the past. They do great work. The price will say $300, but it's 85 or 90% off right now when you go to check out. I think with shipping I spent about $35. EDIT: I just looked at the site. The price is $24.60, plus shipping.
Thanks for the breakdown. I've tried other sites like this before and got mixed results. I think the issues I had with the other websites wasn't there fault as much as the quality of the image I gave them was too small so when blowing up it bigger it kills the quality. Am I right in assuming that the bigger the image you give them (after cropping it of course) the better the overall quality will be?
Yes. Blowing a picture up really huge makes the quality go down (pixel ratio). This pic is great quality and with the size relatively small, it won't be an issue. If it is, they'll call you. I used them for a Christmas gift one year and it was too large and they called me and suggested alternatives.
The problems I've had is I've found some really cool pictures on Instagram that I've said to myself these would be amazing posters. Nothing too huge but a normal poster size. But I don't have any clue how I could increase the size of the Instagram photo without destroying the quality. I tried to research it a little but don't know how I can make this happen because there are some amazing images on Instagram and if you have the creator's permission anybody should be able to turn it into a poster.
In google you can search by image, and sometimes find a much larger version of the same picture. Definitely worth a try.
Yeah I've tried that in certain situations and doesn't always work because the image types are different sometimes. But solid advice in any case.
