Knicks are playing .500 ball last 10 games, Mini got Rubio and K Martin back and are now 3-0, Philly just won a game and is .400 last 10,
Relax people, things are looking down. We will get to the #1 pick on the backs of Kelly and Johnson.

I would not be surprised if we and Orlando end up with the two worst records in the league.

Just thinking about our selection should we land in the top 5 picks, Philly has Noel & Embiid so I don't see them taking Okafor. The T-Wolves have Dieng and Pekovic, and Dieng is supposed to have potential. I think they need a 2 or a 4 more than a 5.

However, New York and Orlando will draft Okafor. I'm OK with Philly finishing ahead of us but definitely not New York or Orlando. We need to lose vs the Knicks. Unfortunately we play a lot more bad teams than good teams for the rest of the season.

2nd worst record to preserve our pick. There's shame in these for the winningest franchise in the NBA but Stern and the other jealous incompetent owners had it for us. There is no NBA without the Lakers and these bastards are making money copying Jerry Buss' business model. Sad really, they could not compete business and competitive wise so they clipped our wings with trade vetoes and restrictions.

This is really the only silver lining that I can see if we go on an extended non-competing run. The NBA w/o the Lakers would fall below the NHL and even MLS in ratings, and that would really show them that the Lakers need to compete every year. Then we'd get Gilbert-level treatment.

Honestly if I'm at the #1 spot, regardless of which team, I take Okafor and don't look back. Philly can live with three good young prospects down there or they can move one. Minny can shed the oft-injured Pekovic if they have to. He's a can't-miss player in the draft at #1.

^ agreed. No one is passing on him. They'll make moves if they have to in order to accommodate him on their club, but they're not taking a lesser talent to avoid a log jam.

The Lakers could fold and cease to exist and the NBA would still crush the NHL in ratings. And I'm a big hockey guy.

Who is that? We talking about Denver tonight at home? Yeah that rig looks like it means business and would not want to be on receiving end of a round. If she knows how to shoot? [IMG]

LOLOL I still remember my first awareness of her.....on Clublakers. Back in the day when some of the avatars "moved". You couldn't see what was going on down below in someone's avatar but from the waist up she was bouncing at an "interesting" clip. I had to ask who it was.

Nice game for the tank tonight. Off to Portland! Keep this up and we may be able to drop into the bottom 3...or dare I say 2?

This game scared me tonight, but luckily Ty Lawson was on point tonight especially in the 2nd half.
