Damn K, what are Laker discussion boards for if not for fantasy talks and pipe dreams? Any topic that includes Dung disposal is pure fantasy

    Lol.

You know what would be a good poll? Is Deng traded by the start of next year or stretched? I think at the end of the day we will strike a deal and hell be traded.

Exactly why I keep bringing up Wade. He's $23mil(?) and I think Chicago still has some cap room. Though with Dunn and Lavine already, not sure how attractive JC would be to them.

JC has limited appeal to most teams, with maybe an exception for Phoenix since they need a replacement for Knight. They have basically enough cap space to absorb JC, so it's always possible to swing a three-way with Phoenix and Chicago to send out Deng and JC for Wade and filler with picks added as necessary, similar to the deal I outlined earlier in this thread.

Aside from a deal similar to that, I find it difficult to believe that JC would be enough to dump Deng due to their high combined salary.

Maybe towards the Trade Deadline, we'll see how Randle has progressed or fits the team, but I think Randle+Deng for Wade would work. Maybe they throw in a prospect or a 1st or 2nd Rounder as well.

my fault to then if you took it as me pooping on your ideas, just sharing my thoughts as well, dont think jc/randle would be enough to move deng, considering what it cost us to move Moz who is paid less and did "more" per se lol

    Of course.

But I don't choose to look at it like that. When I watched this I took an interest in the thought process, scheduling issues, time limit to make a decision (Philly giving Redick a hour or so to decide if not a shorter time limit), and the behind the scenes inter-workings, discussions that go on.

The average fan has no idea and just assumes its these millions sitting at home relaxing and just deciding with a snap of their fingers or who is going to pay the most. A lot more goes into it of course and this gives the viewer an idea.

    Nice thoughts guys.

Ideally... At the end of the day, i wouldnt wanna move Randle&JC to dump Deng but good season or not i think Randle isnt a part of the future. JC is on a reasonable contract and i think a he has a late 1st/early 2nd round asset value in return.

JC,Brewer,Nance,Deng, two seconds for Wade. Then Chi can reflip JC/Brewer if they want. They can reflip Brewer for a 2nd maybe so then they come out of it with JC,Nance,Deng and 3 seconds.

Maybe then trade JC and Nance for TJ Warren and a 2nd?... I think that trade could give them a lot of flexibility to make follow up moves with if yall catch my drift.

Alright a few things folks...Dozier is off to the Mavs on a partially guaranteed contract. The dude with a ponytail and has the IQ equivalence of Shaq's non-manicured and often injured pinky toe has resigned on a 1 year deal with the Dubs. I guess Durant looked out for him again, cause dude got pa...what's that, its a minimum deal. Oh well, I guess Durant can keep stripping for all those singles that he saved Lacob.

And in other news, Lebron started a camp in Vegas, where Westbrook, CP3, current teammate DRose and possible future teammate Bledsoe showed up. Its interesting that Bledsoe is there and again, if Phx is going to make a Kyrie deal, I hope LA some how gets involved to shed Deng.

Lastly, Clarkson is aware that he was nearly traded for George earlier this summer and he probably should keep those bags packed cause he knows he could still be on the move. But overall, this guy does have a good attitude and we just might see him really surprise us this year since the ball stopping DLo is out and you got a pass 1st PG partnering up with him now. #LonzoEffect

Thx for sharing... Lil suprised on Dozier but eff it were good there lol.

Liked what i read from Clarkson.. Sounding like a humbled pro who knows he needs to focus and get better.

Cant really ask for that much more especially after trade rumblings. Im really liking how are locker room is currently being shaped up cause i feel its important for guys like Clarkson who i think aren't THAT mentally tough.

i think clarkson's gone, but as we discussed previously, we sort of need him. if there are any veteran combo guards on expiring contracts, i'd expect the lakers to start sniffing around them as the season wears on.
