I could care less (or whichever the correct version of that is) about him being in GoT. I always call him the male Taylor Swift, annoying songs but catchy as hell.
So I started rewatching Season One. Damn. The foreshadowing and callbacks that are made in Season 6 and even the first episode of Season 7 are so intentional. Like when Jon said, "Father says everything before the word "but" is bulls***." Benjen tells Tyrion in like episode 3, "My brother says everything before the word "but" is false." It's so amazing the details they pay attention to.
I came here to post the same thing, almost word for word. An involuntary "holy s***" may have escaped from my mouth there.
No I didn't... doesn't mean I'm not disappointed though. Huge blow to Danny. My favorite part of the episode was actually Arya talking to the Pie guy and finding out about Jon Snow.
Spoiler Was the fleet taken down before or after they picked up the armies of Dorne and Tyrell? You can never tell with the way they handle time in this show. Were the Sand Sisters with them in Dragonstone or with them on the ships in the season 6 finale? I don't remember. That may give us an indication of whether or not they just took out three houses' armies (sort of Iron Islands, Tyrell, Dorne).
Fav part was Missandei dropping her clothes ;-) Seriously though, Arya finding about Jon and meeting Nymeria was awesome.
Yeah. It is bittersweet with Game of Thrones. You basically wish your whole week would go fast so you can get to the weekend, then you want your weekend to go by fast to get to Game of Thrones. So essentially you're wishing all but 7 hours of your life to go by as fast as possible for the entire Game of Thrones season.
I think it is too, but the Sand Snakes being there worries me. I don't remember them being on the ship at the end of season 6, and it seems like Ellaria would want them to stay behind while she went to Dragonstone. If they're on the ship, they might have already made their stop in Dorne.
Unfortunately, you can't really tell if that's a body double for Missandei or not, damn technology. For example, Cersei's "Shame" walk was done using a body double as well. Either way, Nathalie Emmanuel is gorgeous.
Spoiler Huge blow to Team Dany, maybe this will humble her a little and she'll need Jon Snow as much as he needs her. Arya finding out about Jon Snow was great, it took her out of her blood craze that I think would have gotten her killed. I also love the facial expressions from Little Finger and Tyrion when they, respectively, found out about Tyrion being Hand of the Queen and Jon Snow being King of the North. Such a shame Reek reappeared, but I think that he saved his sister by not charging Euron (who had the best entrance ever).
