    if mgmt. is trying to lure James by acquiring wade and dump deng as well, why not just do in one swoop and offer up Deng and maybe Brewer too along with some picks for Wade now? This way wade doesn't have to take a buy out and lose money, giving us some kudos pts that might lead to james and wade taking less to form their banna boat buddies here with inclusion of PG :)

    If it was that easy to get Wade, the Lakers would have done it a month and a half ago.

    Dunno hwo i feel about Rose but he'd probably be the best back up PG int he league..

    he actually had a nice bounce back season last year....having him off the bench wouldn't be so bad but I would be worried that he would cut into Lonzo's PT and development....

    Rose isn't the best fit, and doesn't seem like a good "mentor". But if he's genuinely willing to accept a back-up role, we could do much worse than a guy who averaged 18 points and 4 assists on 47% shooting last year.

    I'd honestly would have liked Rondo over Rose.
    We should sign Rose and then package him and Deng to Chicago for Wade when their fans bring out the pitchforks instead of banners for the management's head. Chicago management: "Look Rose and Deng are back to save us!"

    I know it's just a joke, but FYI for those that may not know, Rose actually played in 64+ games (30+ mpg) the past 2 years.

    Not a great number, but more than I would expect from someone widely considered injury prone.
