    Yeah I think Mitch and Jim make the call and it doesn't work out whereas nowadays Rich called us with Magic and Rob.

    Rose would be a terrible fit IMO, especially if he plays next to JC off the bench, 2 tunnel vision combo guards with medicore shots, yikes

    That's my question: is Rose really only worth 4 years on a one-year deal? Or are we making another trade to make room for more money?

    Not to mention, is he okay with a bench role? Because I'm honestly pretty confident that Lonzo is better than him. Not to mention, I'm not so sure Derrick Rose is the best mentor for Lonzo.

    I would love Rose as a backup pg off the bench, he can play both guard spots. This will longer his career with less minutes more efficiency and explosion. It would be a great signing

    That was him running triangle offense and starting. We're talking about playing free flowing fast paced with infectious passing. Rose may be a shell of himself but he still has game. Plus in New York he was a starter we're talking 6th man here

    Well if Maginka can somehow swing this without losing someone I want / need to see for first half of the season .... who'd you rather see trying to redeem his career? Rose, Caruso or Ennis?

    He's a poor 3 point shooter, yes, but he's great at penetrating the defense and making plays. Also he's an above average mid range shooter. I don't know if you remember but he cooked us during the regular season. He also shows up during crunch time.

    every guard last yr seemed to set career highs on us, so I dont really put alot of stock into it, Rose also post really poor eff. #'s but whatever I guess, got nobody better in mind, just more publicity for us lol

    That's where I'm at... If Rose is comfortable with a bench role behind a guy like Lonzo, then I'm okay with this. A one-year, 4 million dollar deal?? That'd be a steal even for a guy like Rose!
