Ish Smith (guard on the Thunder) posted this yesterday. The Tweet has since been deleted, but apparently Smith can't be traded until February 6th. Maybe he got word of the trade and preemptively posted this before realizing the trade wouldn't be official for another few days. There's a chance it might be fake or he might've been hacked, but who in the hell would hack Ish freakin' Smith for a fake trade? Anyways, if it ends up being true, I highly doubt Smith is the centerpiece. I'd guess that he's filler in a Lin or Hill trade for Reggie Jackson.
This was proved to be false. I am on my phone and working, so I can't post he link that verifies what I am saying...I'll try too or of somebody else can...
^^^ If what ROFY is saying is true >>> Bleeps like Lakeroc that like to jerk fans' chains. Although I do like Helljumper's thoughts on what could be a possibility. Gimme some.
If it's for reggie jackson I'm all for it! If it's fake then meh..... nothing we haven't seen before.
I dont think we should go after Reggie Jackson if we want to continue to develop Clarkson and or eventually look to draft Russell (if we're in that position). Plus, he's going to cost us a lot in the off-season if we want to try and retain him.
Silver Screen & Roll @LakersSBN · 22m 22 minutes ago Important Update: Ish Smith Claims "Lakers" Tweet was a Hack http://www.silverscreenandroll.com/2015/2/4/7983159/thunder-guard-ish-smith-tweets-deletes-that-he-is-headed-to-lakers…
If I'm the Thunder I would do something right now. the team not gonna win the championship without homecourt edvantage. J Hill is better than Collison and Perkins together, and a better scorer than Adams, and Jackson not a big factor for them anymore. maybe Lin can play better with them with a new start. The Thunder needs to make damage control fast if they don't want Durant looking elsewhere.
They are playing 50% ball for some time, I think i read Collison got an extension, so it would probably Hill, Price for - Perk and Jackson (money works) and they can have the LAC 2 rounder as well as far as i am concerned.
I know what you mean (same with KG), but if we get Jacksons bird rights and can evaluate him for 30 games it may be worth it-besides we could buy out Perk or bench him...
Sitting on the bench he would still be in a Lakers uni, and we would have to pay this useless peace of , I completely agree with Kenzo - Hell no to Perk. Unless he comes with KD
True, lol. Good for us, the worse they do, the bigger the Chance KD leaves one day. Let's hope he chooses the only logical direction then
I'd take Perkins for Hill and start him every game. We would pretty much guarantee zero wins for the rest of the season. Perkins, by just occupying space on the floor in a Laker jersey would help our rebuild tremendously. Let's face it, Hill won that Chicago game for us. We would never have to worry about Perkins getting a hair up his butt and going for 30...or even 10 for that matter.
Unless OKC wanted to give us Reggie Jackson or magically a 1st Round Pick that they don't have, I don't see why we'd give them Jordan.
