Sucks don't it? Feel very similar with thoughts starting to come around on f****** LBJ if paired with PG in FA next year. :Woozyshaq:

Ennis and Clark are better shooters than Rondo. You can mix and match them easier than Rondo with different units...

I think they want Rondo because he is a vet who knows how to win, can help teach Lonzo in the half court, he is really competitive which will hopefully carry over to the rest of the squad.

When I first saw his name linked to us I hated it, but at this point I could honestly say I'd like it.

If we don't get him, I'd give Ennis another try. Don't see the big deal with Clark.

I don't mind Rondo; but I think we need another shooter. Wouldn't hurt.

Hmm, I didn't know Ian Clark was an option. That's interesting. At the same time I can see the case for Rondo, mainly that if Ball gets injured, Rondo can step into the starter role and keep us more competetive. Not against Ennis either, but if I might roll the dice on Clark ahead of him.

Good! I'm glad you're feeling better. It was a bummer seeing everyone so down the last couple weeks. It definitely feels good to "get" somebody for a change.

@abeer3 should love this article as it's based off a report where Isola says this deal needs four teams because nobody is willing to take on Ryan Anderson's deal.

I'm guessing Sacramento? Brooklyn might be involved? who would be motivated to take back a deal like that for some picks?

What I mean by mixing and matching units. You can use Clark or Ennis in the backcourt with Lonzo; Lonzo's such a big guard (height) wise that he gives us that flexibility. Ennis and Clark can spot-up and hit shots much more efficiently while having the ability to initiate the offense, run pick-in-rolls, and move off-ball effectively.

Would love Ian Clark. Tough, hard nosed player. Decent defender. Can score the ball a little bit. Problem for Clark in Golden State was playing behind the best PG rotation in the league in Steph and Livingston. Not many minutes to go around. Would make an excellent backup PG for young Lonzo Ball.

Can't say i know much about Ian Clark, wasn't he playing a bit of SG on the Warriors? At this point i liked what Ennis did last at the end of this past season to warrant another look.

I'd rather go for Clark than Rondo. He's younger, he can shoot. These are good things. I think he's an overall better fit for us.

Im going Rondo way, its easy for Clark to do well when he gets in, not have to worry about doing anything but scoring with the starters GSW has. Rondo can continue the ball movt once Ball is out

I still want No Part of Rondo.
But.. If he'll take the Vet Min, agree to come off the bench & run the 2nd unit
I wouldn't mind as much. We could definitely use a veteran Backup PG.
    Just wish it wasn't Rondo.

Ride or die with my boy Rondo baby. We'll be the 8th seed if we can sign him.

Definitely prefer Ian Clark to Rondo. I was honestly wondering why we hadn’t at least talked with him. Glad he’s on our radar.

I'll be surprised fun it doesn't happen.

Last 4 team trade was the one for Dwight.

yeah, can't believe this bs. houston is holding ariza and capela out of the talks, offering only bad contracts and have limited options for pick inclusion. but they're going to get melo. it's like us trading deng for melo straight up.
