    easily, KCP is a great signing but he wasn't the difference between a playoff spot, he's a difference between 20 wins and mid 30 wins

    It would hurt, but yes. Wade is done but still better then anyone of those guys.

    Yeah, definitely not seeing us in the playoffs, but I am seeing steady improvement with this signing. A was at mid 20 wins again, this could take it to 30+. If we can avoid losing 50+ games again we at least look like we're on an upward trajectory.

    Now with KCP.. Mighta been premature. Hed have to come off the bench. Theres probably a better deal at worst by trade deadline or next summer.

    Why do we need Wade though now with KCP, he'd have to come off the bench? Are you talking strictly to dump Deng and free up that 2nd max spot for next offseason? If so I guess that might be what it takes, we could wait til the deadline, but that's a huge gamble. I'd hate to give up on Nwaba and Nance/Kuzma at this point though.

    It makes no logical sense but I think Lebron's coming to the Lakers. Warrior's wont be 3peating come 2018/2019 so the West is now open

    I've been driving the trade for Wade train a bit but not so much now after signing KCP. We desperately needed a starting SG and I was willing to give up one or two young players to make things work but not anymore. Let's run with what we got, possibly one last point guard signing, and deal with Deng at the deadline or next summer.

    I think it makes a tiny bit of sense if we can clear the books and George comes too. You bring in those two and start messing around with the periphery guys and then we're cooking. If you find a way to shuffle things with two max guys coming in along with our kids, you've done some mighty fine work. As always it'll depend on the growth of our kids.
