    Getting caught up in (like 6 pages behind), but George Hill is the perfect player we need. 3 and D guy who can play both 1 & 2. I never brought him up because I never would have expected that he would be available. This would be such a great signing if we can get this done.

    Yes, this is my only concern. But even with this you sign George immediately a take the chances, especially on a 1 year deal.

    starting next to lonzo would be perfect and what I was envisioning when this news broke.

    Hey I'm a Rondo fan and I want Hill first!

    Love that he can hit 40% from three. Having him and Lopez stretch the defense, Ingram and JR slashing and letting Lonzo do his "Magic" going to be a fun team to watch again.

    obviously I was, he overplayed his hand, thought Utah would fold and give him 4 yr max, to bad for him then, might be good for us at least for a yr.

    That's not the point I was making; Hill>Rondo. No dispute and almost everyone will agree w/that.

    However, I appreciate the Lakers taking time out to do extensive due diligence on Rondo. We're not going in blindfolded; the way a Sacramento franchise would for instance...

    I would imagine Mitch/Jim's due diligence on Moz/Deng respectively was talking to their Griffin/Riley, as mitch ask questions each Gm is trying their best to hold in their laughter lol

    Word is, they're discussing a one year deal with Hill..
    If Hill works out, I'd look for Clarkson & Deng to be gone by the trade deadline.

    if Hill signs a 1yr deal, doesnt effect that out come, we're still short for 2 max with or without Hill.

    Sorry didnt see the one year deal part guys.. Nice, theyre probably trying to find a way to trade Brewer cause then we could offer him 23 mill. Or trade Clarkson,and we could give him a 1 year28 mill.
