    I believe in improvement, i just dont see these late season wins as such, its more combo of opposing teams caring less cause they've secured their playoff spot and or opposing teams needing to tank to solidify their draft position. Improvements wouldve prevented those 13 or so losing streak or losing by 49 to dall. These guys had a few late season wins last yr too, didnt really stop that loser mentality when you constantly setting franchise records in bad ways

    Yes because how many more wins they get the rest of this yr will have very little with what they do next yr whether that means more winning or losing...if last season really meant anything to these players we wouldnt have scene gms like the dall one

    I edited to add but you guys say these wins will help the loser mentality but did that stop them from having gms like that 49pt loss to dall?

    You mean from last year to this year? We obviously shifted our team's approach a good deal, banked on two vets who underperformed - one of them severely. That big loss was in January, prior to the ASB and re-tooling the team again, but even if it's indicative of a bad team, we're already at +7 wins from last year, and we kept it closer against Dallas this last time. I think there's a lot to be hopeful for for next season, but as this is the WMC thread, I'll say that I'm pretty disappointed in what became of this season after that start.

    Spectrum Sportsnet.
    The initial idea was interesting, a channel devoted to Lakers (now Defenders and Galaxy too). But man theres just nothing on their to watch and their are only like 4 commercials that play on a loop. I think a couple nights ago they were showing high school basketball games!

    Now seems as good a time as any to resurrect this thread.

    I really hope Deangelo was some sort of terror behind the scenes, or that some other moves are going to be made.

    Otherwise this move is a head scratcher. I was frustrated with Deangelo's lackadaisacal approach at times, but his talents were undeniable. I wanted to see if he could put it all together mentally. Now we won't know.
