Ok. Just seen Russell the whole first half with Russell; I am sold more than ever. Best college player I have seen this year...I am in love.

Agreed, if we can end up with a top 3 pick I'd be very excited to get Okafor, Mudiay, or Russell. Towns has to be up there too.

I haven't seen Russell play yet and so I am excited about this Thursday's national televised game between:

Ohio State vs. #13 Maryland at 4pm pst. on ESPN

Thought I would post this as well if anyone else wants to check him out.

We are only 3 losses back from having 2nd place in the tank race. I see us finishing in the top 2, to be honest.

This team is just bad, like real bad. We are good for 85-90 points a night and give up 100+.

Starting 2 is the 'sweet spot.' If we head into the lottery with the 2nd worst record, we're guaranteed a top 5 pick; no big worry how 'keeping' our pick at that point. It will just be about where we land which I pray is in the top 3...

Top 2. I want either Okafor or Towns. They would make immediate impacts.

Okafor probably would; Towns is going to spend the first 2 seasons in foul trouble. He has some bad habits he needs to break...

Unfortunately, I couldn't just get Russell highlights; this is the full game of Indiana vs Ohio State, though.

    Here you go, Battle.

Okafor is the big get in the draft. He's NBA ready and still has a little room to grow. Towns might be better one day, but probably not. The only thing about Towns is he'd be a damn near perfect fit next to Randle when he's ready.

I'm still on the Stan Johnson train. NBA ready body, 4 time HS State Champ, one of the best perimeter defenders in the country as only a freshman, and he's a California product. I'd take him 3rd overall still. I see some Kawhi Leonard in him, but a little more flash.

I see Towns much like Bynum. Raw, big athletic body and length, and natural basketball instincts. Big potential. I still take him at 2.

Okafor is more like Al Jefferson, now. He has such a refined post game it's refreshing. Although not quite as athletic as Towns, he doesn't get off the floor that well, he uses his body and footwork intelligently to get what he wants.

Okafor isn't explosive at all and that'll show a lot in the NBA. He's fast in a straight line, he runs well for a man of his huge stature, but he can't move laterally at all. He's incredibly slow footed going left and right. Offensively he should come in averaging 18 points. He should also do fairly well rebounding the ball for a rookie, I'd give him 7-8 rebounds if he lands in a spot that plays him enough minutes. Defensively though teams are going to feast on him.

Okafor would help immediately to any team he goes to, the others would probably take a couple years to fully develop. I'm a huge fan of Towns though, he would be a great fit next to Randle.

After those two I'd probably go with Johnson and then Mudiay.

Does Philly take a guard/wing if they get the 1st or 2nd pick, or do they trade down?

They won't trade down...I don't know what the heck Philly will do. There's a chance on them even taking a Center, too. Michael Carter-Williams is reportedly being shopped around, so they might take a PG. I have no idea.

I don't even think Philly themselves know what they are doing. They just constantly tank every year and hope that it magically figures it self out.
