No, this isn't about Russell as an individual player. This is moreso skepticism towards the front offices strategy to build the team.

Okay thats fine if youre not gonna have trust as a laker fan but youll still have to wait years until we get our answer so why not enjoy the process and patiently wait for the follow up transactions.

    I'm still hoping Ojeleye falls.

If not we could use guard depth now. Keep an eye on Jawun Evans, Derrick White, and Frank Jackson.

I said in anothe thread Terrance Furgeson probably has a promise somewhere. He's an athletic wing.

Now with Lopez I sort of doubt we look for the stretch big but if we do look for Kuzma, DJ Wilson, and Tyler Lydon.

I pray that this entire thread has been a waste of time. If we end up picking anyone with them (granted it's not for Indy), it means PG-13 isn't coming to LA until next season.

See Derrick White in the mock. He would be a good pick up and can definitely replace Clarkson. Could be a good combo guard in the NBA

evans and white both intrigue me some now, though i imagine the lakers want a vet pg on a one-year deal to help break lonzo in.

Yeah White is a senior, but still a rookie. It'd be a mistake to come into the season with two rookies leading the team. I'm not sure what's truly available to them as a veteran though. Ramon Sessions? Brandon Jennings? Sergio Rodriguez? Aaron Brooks? Ray Felton? Maybe try to go after Shaun Livingston?

Guys that come to mind that are vets and won't want big minutes and can be had for big 1 yr deals. Maybe Deron Williams or Jason Terry?

Sessions has a team option so it's possible they release him and he's just an UFA.

    Some expiring trade candidates:
    Lou Williams (7 million)
    CJ Watson (5 million)
    Jameer Nelson (4.7 million)
    Devin Harris (4.3 million)
    Leandro Barbosa (4 million)
    Seth Curry (3 million)
    Ronny Price (2.4 million)
    Shabazz Napier (2.3 million)
    Tim Frazier (2 million)
    Isaiah Cannan (1.6 million)
    Raul Neto (1.5 million)

If we keep the picks i wanna go BPA at 27 and 28. Deng can give us minutes as a stretch four as well.

I would like to see us trade up for OG if we do keep the picks.

We lost our best 3 point shooters in dlo and Nick in 2 days

We need to figure out a way to move up in the draft for monk or kennard

Why would that necessarily be a bad thing? Draft two more assets, Sign PG outright, trade said assets get more pics. Constant movement and traction keeps the roster from getting stale and old (Jimmy/Mith mentality) Always be closing... (Pelinka mentality)

    Yikes.

If someone takes Aldridge and GIVES the Spurs 2 picks, they're crazy. Aldridge looked completely outmatched on the floor against the Warriors. He looked like ****. I want no part of Aldridge and his giant contract. If you want to get rid of him now, you better give ME 2 picks.

LA would handle zaza. They were up to 20 before Kawhis injury. LA and WCS would be a good tandem. If they take fox at 5 all they need is a SF.

Vlade can hold firm with #10 for LA

    Spurs definitely serious on CP3
