He will. Have you no foresight to realize how good he's going to look in just a couple years, stronger, faster, maybe even a little taller .... added onto what he comes into the league with as a 19 year old? Whatever. Ain't going to be no room on that bandwagon for yo fat unimpressed squirrel a** by the all star break.

Rob probably used plenty if not more tricks during his time as an agent, so Danny should have known his weak s*** wasn't going to work against our FO

I'm not privy to what happened at Friday's workout but I am pretty sure that Lavar swore to Magic that he would stfu if the Lakers drafted his son then he proceeded to kiss Magic's championship ring...all 5 of them!

A couple more potential first rounders:

    Ferguson 4.8 SCOFF, 1.9 PAFF, 2.3 HUFF, 42 WING
--I don't know much about the quality of play in Australia, but I imagine it's not great. His assists might be higher here, but he's so raw at this point. Just turned 19 last month. Stats won't be a big help on him given how young and unrefined he seems to be.

    Adebayo 5.9 SCOFF, 1.6 PAFF, 3.6 HUFF, 86 BIG
--These are solid but unremarkable numbers. Good scoring and hustle numbers. Word is he's a decent and versatile defender, so his value might be greater than what he shows here.

Ferguson gives off that Ross/JR Smith vibe to me, crazy athletic and hits 3's but yet still doesn't seem very appealing.

    Top Scoring Efficiencies
    John Collins 7.1
    Zach Collins 6.7
    Markell Fultz 6.6

    Top Passing Efficiencies
    Lonzo Ball 4.1
    D. Smith 3.7
    Markell Fultz 3.6

    Top Hustle Efficiencies
    John Collins 4.0
    Zach Collins 3.9
    Harry Giles 3.9

    PG
    Markelle Fultz 6.6 SCOFF, 3.6 PAFF, 3.0 HUFF, 92 PG/91 WING
--If he can defend, I take him first and don't have any concerns. He's going to be good.

    Lonzo Ball 5.7 SCOFF, 4.1 PAFF, 2.9 HUFF, 89 PG/80 WING
--His passing will translate. His hustle will if he adds strength. His scoring probably won't. Way too high PPS for a PG. Questions about his defense make me bump him down. He's an obvious top 5 pick, but I don't take him in the top two.

    D.Smith 6.1 SCOFF, 3.7 PAFF, 2.7 HUFF, 86 PG/83 WING
--Smith is in my top five, for sure. He has a slight advantage on Fox, his game translates nicely to the NBA. If I think he can defend at all, I take him top five. His NBA comparisons look more like offensive-minded PGs though.

    De'Aaron Fox 6.3 SCOFF, 3.5 PAFF, 2.5 HUFF, 83 PG/82 WING
--With his defense, he's an NBA starter posting 80+ by year two. I take him top four for sure.

    WINGS
Josh Jackson 5.7 SCOFF, 2.9 PAFF, 3.5 HUFF, 77 WING
--If JJ's defense isn't amazing. I wait on him. Jackson or Ball? Tough question.

Justin Jackson 6.2 SCOFF, 2.9 PAFF, 2.6 HUFF, 73 WING
--Solid scorer, solid passer, so-so hustle, and not much of a defender. Sounds like a longer JC with a worse handle.

    Malik Monk 6.5 SCOFF, 2.5 PAFF, 2.2 HUFF, 65 PG/72 WING
--I'm not impressed, and I take him only if I need a ton of offense and don't care about defense or he suddenly learns how to defend. I bump him to the end of the lottery.

Luke Kennard 6.3 SCOFF, 2.5 PAFF, 2.4 HUFF, 70 WING
--Good shooting efficiency, good scorer, so-so passing, decent hustle for a wing. Nothing really blows me away about him.

    Donovan Mitchell 5.9 SCOFF, 2.7 PAFF, 3.0 HUFF 68 WING (66 PG)
--Allegedly a good defender, but after two years in college, he doesn't have anything impressive to show for himself. He's a good athlete, but his size and lack of PG skills make him probably a combo guard at best and a SG on defense.

    Jayson Tatum 6.1 SCOFF, 2.4 PAFF, 3.0 HUFF, 68 WING/80 BIG
--I don't know Tatum's game, but if he's being compared to Granger and Houston, and he's not a defender, I don't take him in the top five.

    Jonathan Isaac 5.9 SCOFF, 2.0 PAFF, 3.6 HUFF, 65 WING/88 BIG
--Isaac could be a very intriguing PF. Hard to see him at SF. He seems like a massive project, too, in the NBA, but my system likes him more than Tatum.

    BIGS
John Collins 7.1 SCOFF, 1.3 PAFF, 4.0 HUFF 110 BIG
--Monstrous scoring and hustle, horrendous passing. The comparisons on him make little sense (Wilcox, Damian Jones) given his scoring ability. He's intriguing for sure.

    xZ.Collins 6.7 SCOFF, 1.5 PAFF, 3.9 HUFF, 103 BIG
--This is an intriguing dude. The best scoring efficiency of all these guys. The best hustle efficiency. The highest positional efficiency. And it's every bit as high as Towns's.

TJ Leaf 6.3 SCOFF, 2.7 PAFF, 3.2 HUFF, 91 BIG
--I don't get the "Nick Collison" comparison. Leaf hit more threes in one season in college than Collison did in college, more than Collison has in a decade in the NBA. A good shooter, smart decision-maker, and maybe not much else.

    OG Anunoby 5.8 SCOFF, 2.3 PAFF, 3.7 HUFF, 90 BIG (66 WING)
--I guess he projects as a stretch four. If his defense is as good as it is supposed to be, he can do that. I'm just not thrilled about him.

Justin Patton 6.2 SCOFF, 2.0 PAFF, 3.4 HUFF, 89 BIG
--Raw, with great athleticism for a seven footer, already a good scorer. Lots of upside. Really intriguing.

Bam Adebayo 5.9 SCOFF, 1.6 PAFF, 3.6 HUFF, 86 BIG
--These are solid but unremarkable numbers. Good scoring and hustle numbers. Word is he's a decent and versatile defender, so his value might be greater than what he shows here.

Harry Giles 5.2 SCOFF, 1.7 PAFF, 3.9 HUFF, 82 BIG
--Lots of injuries means a tiny body of work for such a big dude. Solid but unimpressive numbers with a question mark for injuries.

Jarrett Allen 5.7 SCOFF, 1.5 PAFF, 3.5 HUFF, 79 BIG
--Doesn't stand out in terms of the numbers. Compared to Lorenzen Wright, but I don't think he has Wright's offensive game (and that's not saying too much).

    xMarkkanen 6.2 SCOFF, 1.6 PAFF, 3.0 HUFF, 76 BIG
--I don't draft Markkanen. If he can't defend, he's at absolute best case scenario Ryan Anderson, but I'm not sure that happens.

NBA Draft.net has James White as a comparison. I don't love what I'm hearing, adding in your suggestions - maybe crazy in more ways than one.

i think you don't want to be the team that drafts ferguson. you want to be the team that gets him five years later on a last-chance vet min after he's been knocked down some pegs and figured out how to play the game.

In about 2 weeks he'll change that to read "Sounds like Lakers are dangling Deng and Mozgov in effort to get another Top 12 pick. Luke Kennard & Zach Collins appear to be targets."

Ford is up to his usually BS. Earlier today I heard from someone saying he mentioned that we should trade Russell, Randle and our #2 for PG13.

I don't think we should be able to post or link his stuff to this site anymore. Credibility is nonexistent.

I heard him say it live on the radio, and it made me change the station in disgust. Ford has absolutely no credibility and his ridiculous proposal completely ignored the fact that the Lakers have the option of waiting and signing PG next off-season for nothing lost, which is possible since PG has made it known that he is a rental if traded to any team outside the Lakers.

DLo for a mid first rounder? That makes no sense, why don't we just offer him for PG?
