I get it for them. They'll have a solid young core. But you don't want to start sending out a bunch of assets unless it guarantees you competitiveness. With Simmons and Embiid having injury concerns I'm not sure this makes them a powerhouse.

I also think they're very nervous about being Okafor'd again.

I get the feeling the level of deception being fed to the various team mouth piece is reaching KGB VS. CIA levels of covert misinformation.

I also wonder why Magic and Rob held a closed workout/meeting just with them.

its the media. unfortunately in today's society its their job to mix things up instead of trying to always get the story correct.

If anybody thinks for one second that Boston is gonna help Philly or LA get better in a trade is out of their minds. Ainge bleeds dookie C bag green through and through. Philly and LA have historically been a pain in Boston's backside for years. Better believe any deal Ainge does will screw either franchise royally on the back end. Don't complicate this. Take Ball or Jackson at number 2 and don't look back.

I like this. Putting his Balls on the line in showing them what he is physically for 4 hours. I think we have players as good as Fultz already on the roster. Russell says hello. Or if not for some specific reason then the FO will get them. Lonzo's type of mindset and talent at a young age already and leadership is rare. That's what should make all the other talent surely to be acquired and continuing to be developed within ..... come together as a great basket TEAM. If Simmons has it between his ears in the leadership capability aspect then Philly got one of the greatest young one of those rarest of talents last year. We're taking Lonzo. Book it.

Am serious about the Big Balls aspect of what he did today. Had to be feeling good about his body and showing them what they can expect him to be doing month in and month out all year long.

I honestly prefer Ball over Fultz, just based on need and excitement. We have dlo in fultz

Fultz projects better than Russell. Imagine Russell, but able to get into the lane and finish with power and length. Russell is hamstrung at times by his below-average athleticism. Fultz will not have that issue. Russell is probably a better passer, but Fultz is no slouch and can score in more ways. They also both have the same issues with staying focused every single second.

That last sentence scares the s*** out of me if we drafted Fultz. Dlo's focus is already an issue I'm sick of coming up.

I agree. It's my biggest reservation about him. Incidentally he recognizes it's a fault and something he needs to work on so at least he's self aware. Still, between Russell and Randle I'm not sure I could handle another airhead kid out there.

You would have had to change your name once again.

Lemme cheer you up. Lonzo is THE best player in this draft and will make a real impact for years to come on where this team is heading.

I think a lot of these teams know that all the rumors regarding our skepticism around Lonzo are smokescreens, and they are using it to their advantage. Essentially, they are calling our bluff and operating under the assumption that our #2 pick is already decided on Lonzo, so they are going around us making their own moves.

Would we dare pass on LA's own Chosen One, the golden child? If Jackson is the #1 pick, then we have a HUGE decision to make in selecting Ball/Fultz. If Fultz goes #1, as has been speculated since day 1, then I believe our choice has already been made.

At least with Mitch we knew he was tight lipped about almost everything. Heck, even Woj didn't know who we were drafting a couple years ago while he was reporting every other team's pick mins before it was announced.

We're in a good place right now so let's not get cute.

I didn't hear that about Ball. I heard about conditioning issues.

He also requested a 2nd workout to improve his "standing" in the Lakers eyes according to Ramona.

I dont the Lakers are intrigued about him as some posters.
