Yep. Nobody on the roster was league average last year; irrespective if we draft Jackson or not, that issue needs to be addressed.

I see Justice Winslow in Jackson. Which will be frustrating to watch offensively. We need Ball movement and a push the tempo pg, I hope this is all smokescreen, because I will be genuinely pissed off. If they're are truly not into Ball then trade the pick or even trade down for Sacramento's picks

Winslow was more of a driver than Jackson is. Winslow is also stockier in build and not half the passer. I'm struggling to come up with a great comparison for Jackson. Iguodala is the conventional one, but I think that's a bit of a disservice to Iguodala's ability to score.

I can deal with waiting until the trade deadline.

After watching the Finals I'm more convinced than ever we need players that can make NBA 3pt shots.

And make the extra pass to the open man.

But who on earth in this draft can do both?

Just sort of reading the tea leaves here... but Josh Jackson cancels his PHI workout and then works out for us publicly in a first afternoon session? Seems related. I don't know that means the Lakers take him, but I think the two things are connected.

Probably knows at worst he goes 3, hoping to come here with #2. Doing this scares philly that if he is there's they're for sure taking him. Or maybe they want Philly to trade with them? Kinda like the Niners suckered the bears to swap picks and the Niners got their man in Solomon Thomas anyways while earning two 3s and two 4s.

A ploy to force the Sixers to trade up and give us an asset?

Make it seem like we're really interested in JJ, then force their hand because you know they don't need Lonzo with Simmons there.

Jackson's shot improved steadily throughout the year and he definitely shot well the last month or two of the season.

If we are seriously considering, I imagine the front office has seen enough in film and in his workouts that those improvements will carry over into the league.

I expect Ball but I'm definitely fine with Jackson.

And if they took Solomon, we were taking Reuben.... who we got with the 31st pick. Thanks Chicago!!!

    Okay, back to our draft.......

I'm not opposed. Him and Ingram on the wings is some really nice defense. Learning how to shoot is one of the easier skills to acquire. Defense doesn't seem to be one most players care about. I still think D'Angelo would be better served at the 2 and we need a PG to set the table, but like you, I'm not opposed to Jackson (or Fox).

That right there is what I love to hear. Fox has that too.
