    Title says it all.

Sounds like his life isn't going too good post-Lakers.

Authorities say former Los Angeles Lakers player and ex-New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he flipped his vehicle on a California highway.

The California Highway Patrol says neither Fisher nor his passenger, former "Basketball Wives" reality star Gloria Govan, were injured in the crash early Sunday.

Authorities say Fisher was driving on U.S. 101 in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles when his 2015 Cadillac veered onto the right shoulder while approaching an interchange.

The car hit the shoulder's concrete curb and guardrail, overturned and came to a rest on its roof.

The Highway Patrol says officers discovered that Fisher had been drinking and he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Govan is also the former wife of Golden State Warriors forward Matt Barnes. Fisher and Barnes feuded in 2015 in part because of Fisher's relationship with Govan.

Fisher is one of my favorite Lakers of all time and I value him more than most...

    This is incredibly disappointing.

Just saying what? What a dumb thing to say if you know anything about the Lakers.

He's a phony. Sure he was the consummate pro but to me it was always an act. His act got exposed in NYC big time

This is the exact type of reaction expected from the Twitter era of immediate judgement with almost no contextual understanding of the environment.

What was an act or phony during his playing career? There's a reason Kobe loved him. One of your worst takes ever KRL. After his career, have at it.

While I agree to an extent, I'm not sure what reason he has for drink driving if true, he's lucky no one got hurt.

I'm not talking about that. I abhor drunk driving and don't excuse it. I'm talking about his stint in NY which somehow is a reflection on his character?

It's been clear that since his divorce, much of his personal life has not been at the sort of level I've come to expect from Fish. He's struggling right now. This latest issue is not something I take lightly at all.

Enough of this Holden Caulfield, Catcher in the Rye revisionism.

Everything you wanted to know about Derek Fisher, you could see on the Basketball Court. A place where it is apparent if you are faking it. That's how we should judge every basketball player.

Well, not every one, maybe. But he put in a lot of work on and off the court.
