Jackson can slide through any of those spots I think. He's a good defensive fit with Ingram. I agree they're not good offensive fits at all.

I don't think there's any chance they take Jackson. They're 97% on Ball but they need to keep options open just in case he looks like crap up close.

Ok, while we talk semantics, for discussion purposes, if the Lakers had the 1st pick, who would they pick?

Probably. I'm sure the kid is a stud in workouts.

My first 6 questions would all be about why he didn't win more games though. I'd love to hear the kid's thought process. If he's honest with me or honest with himself even.

Absolutely. They did interview at the combine, though, and Magic said he was "an impressive kid" or something like that...

Kidd, but that's only because of the Grant Hill injuries. IMO...

I'll trust the front office on this one, but I have to say, I'm not convinced Ball will be a better player than Fox in the long run.

I think those two will be the best guards in this draft over time but that Ball fits better here. One is bacon and the other is cake. Both awesome but different.

Man, when you are Magic Johnson and everything you do is clutch, how do you actually not float while walking? This man has redefined the word man.

It's Fox's attitude towards winning that intrigues me the most as a distinguishing characteristic. I know its just one example, but the difference in how Ball and Fox reacted to losing really impacted my opinion of their drive respectively.

I want someone that truly cares about winning deeply. Ball seems to be more like Dlo, where if he does care deeply, you sure can't tell from his demeanor. That scares me about Ball.

Chris Paul cares about winning and whines an entire game and can't get passed the 2nd round after 12 years. Tim Duncan had the emotional stretch of an 89 year old with dementia. Kawhi Leonard is half a mute and has the same dead pan look even if their was a meteor landing on earth. I dont think it matters with demeanor. Winning matters. That's it.

Two of those guys play the right way and devoted themselves to their craft to absurd degrees.

I wonder what John Chaney thinks of Cal's observation.

I read Calipari would say he isn't. Am I wrong?
