Well, Larry started at Center in the final few games when the Lakers won 5-6 games. Why not try it with him as a back up at C?

Easy yes for me, especially the wcs/jc part. We would still be guaranteed a pg if thats what we're looking for, hell maybe ball would still be there @5 if Sac is enamored with Fox, Phi wouldnt take ball IMO, Pho might if jackson is gone so thats only risk imo

What ... stupidity? DAR makings of elite 3% shooter plus back to basket plus passing and handles and 6'5". Fox is fast, skinny, shorter and can't shoot well yet. DAR with more strength and 2 years experience in the league.

Overrating DUR again. First he was the next HOF PG leader of the Lakers and now he's an elite 3 pt shooter. When I think elite 3 pt shooter I am thinking Klay, Steph, Reddick

BI, Zu, and the #2 pick?

Zu is already good in the pick and roll and finishing around the rim as it is, can you imagine someone like Lonzo getting him the rock? He'd average 20 ppg.

You don't have to win a 1 on 1 to win at the workout. Imagine for a second that Magic doesn't just look incredible in the workout. Now wake up. He's a gamer. He shows up. I think the same is true of Fox. I doubt it if Ball. Not being willing to do that workout tells me a lot about a guy.

The gamer thing is what I meant by subtle pick ups. Given that, Magic's strengths were never in 1v1 situations. I actually think Ball will do better in a 1v1 than Magic would, but it's not his forte either.

    And that's just getting started.

    :Magic Brows:

Need to see what all of our young guys, sans JC if he and 28 and Black or something can get us a good vet, have by the end of this summer and up to the trade deadline. Can't believe the eagerness from some to just ship so many of our Lakers own talented young players out for other team's players. Sucks from fan perspective, mine anyway, where much enjoyment comes from watching the team grow. Everyone agrees 2 or 3 more years no one's knocking GS out of the top spot in the west.

Consider this wacky idea ... if you manage to dump JC and Deng in a deal to get PG and potentially free up $30mm+ for next summer and say sign a Boogie!?!?

You telling me you wouldn't want a lineup like this?

    PF - Ingram
    F - George
    C - Boogie
    G - DLo
    PG - Ball

    Possibly a bench of Randle/Nance/Zubac

You mention being too hasty to get rid of young players, then suggest dumping jc and black?
